I feel like Kozmo would be real deep in the depths if it wasn't pretty consistently wavering from 'can steal a few wins out of nowhere' to 'genuine meta contender' ever since its release. It never really leaves the conversation, so anyone who's ever tried to play the game since about mid-2015 has had to go 'what is a Kozmo Tincan and what did it just do' at least once. Yeah, the Iceberg has it at Part 5. Also we're seeing Rata again before that. Looks like around the end of Part 3 at 'Buster Blader's Lips' Even though I kind of think 'Meme'd into existence' should at least make a cameo.
Here's a fun addendum to the Card Censorship business. マジマジ☆マジシャンギャル, or _Magi Magi ☆ Magician Gal_ is not a particularly powerful card. It's basically just the Xyz version of Dark Magician Girl, being a generic Rank 6, then detach for a Change of Heart effect or an opponent's gy only Monster Reborn effect. However, this card is not legal in the TCG nor Master Duel, and will likely never see print overseas. This is because Kazuki Takahashi drew this card's art, and like every single DMG art in history would need to be censored for release. So, just like True Exodia after her, neither of these cards will see the West... Because we don't censor Takahashi's art.
My exposure to Yu-Gi-Oh: - Someone gave me some of their cards when I was a kid - The super early epsiode of Yugi loosing his father/grandfather (due to, from my young perspective, them being creepily sucked into a TV), was too intense for young me. So I almost entirely ignored it for the rest of it's TV run - Bandit Keith "IN AMERICA!" memes - One or two meme animations that got recommended to me years ago This will be a *very, very interesting* video XD
Important to note for the comedy of 16:05, at least to me, is that Wayne gets Pot of Greed’s effect Wrong; he insists it allows the user to draw Three cards instead of drawing Two. 1:37:29 Slight correction, the scene in question in The Simpsons was about the lack of selection of books the Springfield library had, with the posters showing the only three books available at the time, with iirc Lisa saying the names. This leads into the wrap around of Marge instead telling the kids some stories, which are the three sub episodes in the episode.
1:03:45 as someone who's played a variety of Gacha games...Duel Link's format is actually rather generous. In your example of needing 3 of a specific Ultra Rare, for instance, if you literally don't care about getting any other cards in a box, you can reset as soon as you find the card you want instead of being forced to sit through the entire rest of the cycle. The fact that you *are* guaranteed to get one of every card in a box if you pull through the entire thing is also objectively more consistent than the real life card game to make that comparison, just look at how many times someone on a "we'll pull virtual packs and play with those" youtube series gets 6 of the same Secret Rare and none of the others.

HAPPY EPISODE 100!! your original iceberg was actually what got me into the channel, and recently i've been considering potentially checking out the yugioh anime myself (or atleast one of em, probably duel monsters but i digress). fun fact about the kozmos, it's not the first sci-fi take on the wizard of oz, there's this one anime called adventures of space oz. highly specific thing to happen twice for sure, though it probably is coincidence
WAIT Season 0 does cover Death-T! Episodes 22-24, just before the Monster World RPG arc. There's a few changes (like the gang not being trapped in a room with AN ACTUAL SLASHER), but it's still great!
I don't know how true it is, but appearently Little Kuriboh's portraiyal of Freeza in the DBZ abridged dub led to the Freeza recast in Kai, making him sound way closer to LK's version. Even if not true, I appreciate that change so much. Since Kai, english dub Freeza is my favorite Freeza.
Holy crap this video is amazing! I've had a mild passing interest in yugioh for a while now, though i haven't looked too deep into it. Man this is so nostalgic, your original yu-hi-oh video was what made me fall in love with your channel, and I don't even play the game and, in fact, barely know anything about it lmao.
The retrain effect still is in play with Rex’s monster Serpent Night Dragon getting a retrain. Also I will never hate you robot voice, they don’t understand how great you are.
I was thinking earlier what your one hundredth episode would be. Boy I am hyped for this since your original Yu-Gi-Oh iceberg was the first video I saw from you and it's great to see a revamp of it.

I appreciate this as someone who's never been able to wrap their head around the game (or any TCG, to be honest). I love Yu-Gi-Oh, but idk if I'll ever play the game despite my urge to try. I'd at least like to celebrate it alongside you all for the coming series!!
so ready and unbelievably excited for this mini series as a fan of the channel and literally no knowledge of yu-gi-oh outside of like 3 1/2 references from drawfee and rdcworld
You making aanother proper Yu-Gi-Oh video was actually in my response to your year in review! Its so cool that you actually listen to fans! Obviously I am not self centered enough to think this was because of me, but this makes me so happy to see!
I feel so validated by the “can’t read category” because I have lost duels recently because of this. I got scared by a amorphage pendulum spell that blocked monster effects when the opponent has an amorphage monster…but he didn’t have one and I just assumed I couldn’t activate monster effects. Then there’s my personal favorite: Summoning Cyberse Quantum Dragon and crashing it into my opponent’s much stronger monsters because I keep forgetting CQ Dragon is Dark and I often open my play with Salamangreat Miragstallio which prohibits me from activating non-fire monster effects when I use it that turn.
I have recently started playing Yu Gi Oh, and I admit that I only play on Master Duel, but I can be sure of one thing: pot of avarice It's probably my most broken and useful card in my tribrigade deck.
Great video! But a few minor corrections: - The first legal printings of the god cards were released as Shonen Jump promos, not in Battle Pack 2 - Obelisk actually saw some side deck play in Dragon Ruler format, as you could often construct a decent board without using your normal summon, and Obelisk’s effect protection was really hard for the Ruler decks to out - If you want to be reeeeeally technical, Yugioh’s first tier zero deck was 1999 Exodia in the OCG, back before the game even came to the west - Dragon Ruler was actually tier zero for a very brief period of time after Sixth Sense was released and Spellbook of Judgement was hit on the banlist
An 8-part series about Yugioh, and the first part is already 2 hours?! Oh, I am definitely looking forward to this. Looking at the sneak peek list, I’m especially excited for the card storylines section, and I hope that Rata’s ‘unintentional’ predictions are brought up in the Yugi-Tubing section.
Yu-gi-oh and one piece were two series i loved as a kid but grew out of in my stupid teenage years, while i was able to get back into one piece easily back a few years ago, yu-gi-oh has become way way to complicated for me to enjoy every card nowadays feels like i'm reading a book on theorically physics
The first time i saw a Yugioh chapter in my life was when i was 7 years old. And it was love at first sight. Rest in peace Kazuki Takahashi PD: Im 11 minutes in and i already love the video. Your videos always made me have a good time, but this one is going to be special.
Mr The Chazz of all people creating a meme that even not yugioh people use is still the funniest thing ever. That one twitter person made everyone Chazz it up unironically. Can the same be said for ruggington and Spunk Yes.
My favorite Yugioh archetype is Dragon Maid. Because someone at Yugioh watched Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, thought that was cool, then made it an archetype, then the creator of the series has said that because of that they would try playing Yugioh. It's really wholesome and honestly just a nice way to see things go around.
Another fun fact about the Venture Bros Yugioh reference. Dean Venture's voice actor is Michael Sinterniklaas, who voiced Mahad in Yugioh. So him shouting "That's my Yugioh card" is a bit of insider self-referencing that's kinda neat.
Oh, that was just a taste. We haven’t even gotten to his ‘unintentional’ predictions. Fusing field spells, printing rebirth of judgment, making a columns joke in a video uploaded less than a day before links format is announced, and more recently, making a skull servant video only for new support for it to be revealed less than 2 months later.
Ohhh yes you've answered me! Your first yugioh iceberg video is one of my favorites so needed you to cover your own after yugioh everything. Now I know it didn't return on here as an entry and that it's been a while since the last part but... Kalin for mcrumbles so he can give everyone a taste of the Kalin Special?
the toei anime actually does include death t. there are a few changes such as jonouchi's battle with chopman being removed, the bllood puzzle being done with a robot that will eventually crush them rather than a guillotine which will cut off their hands, and instead of having honda's nephew tag along, miho accompanies them because the toei anime had miho join the gang for many adventures whereas in the manga she was a one-off character

The what does pot of greed do? Meme was pretty much the Kono DIO da meme for the Yu-Gi-Oh fanbase
Holy crap this video is amazing! I've had a mild passing interest in yugioh for a while now, though i haven't looked too deep into it. With how much i learned from just this video alone, i am beyond stoked to see the rest of what you have in store! Here's hoping that this series gets the love and attention it clearly deserves!
The best type of iceberg videos are multiple parts where there are multiple total hours of content. I’m so excited for this
1:36:45 Hearing this is funny because I thought Jack was going to refer to Yipper Card Squadron the kids sometimes played in the background, never realized there was a kid who had actual yugioh hair lol
This is the best thing I could have hoped for out of video 100, I absolutely love your Yugioh content
Man this is so nostalgic, your original yu-hi-oh video was what made me fall in love with your channel, and I don't even play the game and, in fact, barely know anything about it lmao.
22:14 I did NOT need that nostalgia bomb set off thanks
Glad I am not the only one
The retrain effect still is in play with Rex’s monster Serpent Night Dragon getting a retrain. Also I will never hate you robot voice, they don’t understand how great you are.
Seated ready with my popcorn i have never been more hyped for a video since ive gotten back in yugioh
I was thinking earlier what your one hundredth episode would be. Boy I am hyped for this since your original Yu-Gi-Oh iceberg was the first video I saw from you and it's great to see a revamp of it.
I love listening to you talk about stuff that you're really into! All your videos are entertaining, but when you're really into something you can because there's a bright energy to those videos.
Congratulations on video 100 and look forward to more! ^_^
YES! I've just been getting into Yu-gi-oh's history these past few months as something to listen to while cooking. but they can step aside, Bumbles Mcfumbles out here about to drop the best cinematic series to date! As someone who showed up on episode 6ish (on my other account) and watched through the whole backlog of the time, what a wonderful full circle to have come to :)
I was wondering if Bumbles was gonna go back to his iceberg just to find out his episode 100 was him redoing the iceberg
And I think this is a very fitting milestone, I'm glad I have something to look forward to (and something to watch/listen to while grinding my games)
Thank you, Bumbles
Is it kinda weird that I thought for the longest time that Dramatic Crossroads was a boomer comic?
It does have that art style
This is an amazing 100th video. Can't wait for the other 7 parts.
I know absolutely nothing about Yu-Gi-Oh except from what I’ve gleaned from the Abridged Series. This is gonna be a trip.
I needed this, thank you
Wow, and I was just getting back into Yu-Gi-Oh recently. Talk about luck. Happy 100 episodes!
1:56:00 my favorite part of frightfur bear being censored is the ultimate rare still has the finger hole for the scissors in the foiling
A two hour, multi-part series on obscure knowledge of a card game I haven’t touched in nearly 12 years?!?!
YES, PLEASE!
I was not expecting for him to acknowledge the person who kept stealing content from other creators, but that was the most greatest way to do it
I legit thought this was an older video... thank you Jack, this will help with art. :3
I have recently started playing Yu Gi Oh, and I admit that I only play on Master Duel, but I can be sure of one thing: pot of avarice It's probably my most broken and useful card in my tribrigade deck.
thank you father fumbler for this great feast
Great video! But a few minor corrections:
- The first legal printings of the god cards were released as Shonen Jump promos, not in Battle Pack 2
- Obelisk actually saw some side deck play in Dragon Ruler format, as you could often construct a decent board without using your normal summon, and Obelisk’s effect protection was really hard for the Ruler decks to out
- If you want to be reeeeeally technical, Yugioh’s first tier zero deck was 1999 Exodia in the OCG, back before the game even came to the west
- Dragon Ruler was actually tier zero for a very brief period of time after Sixth Sense was released and Spellbook of Judgement was hit on the banlist

My problem is some of the longer effects have such tiny print and my eyesight even with glasses is bad. That and the timing thing.
The first time i saw a Yugioh chapter in my life was when i was 7 years old. And it was love at first sight. Rest in peace Kazuki Takahashi
PD: Im 11 minutes in and i already love the video. Your videos always made me have a good time, but this one is going to be special.
Mr The Chazz of all people creating a meme that even not yugioh people use is still the funniest thing ever. That one twitter person made everyone Chazz it up unironically.
Can the same be said for ruggington and Spunk Yes.
Your video style really refreshes this overused format
I’m actually incredibly happy that you’re covering Yu-Gi-Oh! Today
One of my fav TH-camrs making a two hour long video on my hyper-obsession, hell. Yes.
Two hours of Bumbles Mcfumbles? What a great way to start the year ^^
My favorite Yugioh archetype is Dragon Maid. Because someone at Yugioh watched Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, thought that was cool, then made it an archetype, then the creator of the series has said that because of that they would try playing Yugioh.
It's really wholesome and honestly just a nice way to see things go around.
Never thought I’d hear Bumbles McFumbles talk about Wayneradiotv and Haruhi Suzumiya but I’m all for it
Another fun fact about the Venture Bros Yugioh reference. Dean Venture's voice actor is Michael Sinterniklaas, who voiced Mahad in Yugioh. So him shouting "That's my Yugioh card" is a bit of insider self-referencing that's kinda neat.
Yknow what, yeah this makes sense, obviously this is episode 100, enjoy my man
FUCKING. KNEW IT!
Can't wait until we reach the inevitable 'Annoying the Shit Out of Rata' layer.
Edit: Second fucking entry.
Holy shit, Bumbles and a YuGiOh Iceberg, now that's a way to start off the year
Ohhh yes you've answered me! Your first yugioh iceberg video is one of my favorites so needed you to cover your own after yugioh everything.
Now I know it didn't return on here as an entry and that it's been a while since the last part but... Kalin for mcrumbles so he can give everyone a taste of the Kalin Special?
So this is the part 1 of 8
What a way to celebrate the channel
the toei anime actually does include death t. there are a few changes such as jonouchi's battle with chopman being removed, the bllood puzzle being done with a robot that will eventually crush them rather than a guillotine which will cut off their hands, and instead of having honda's nephew tag along, miho accompanies them because the toei anime had miho join the gang for many adventures whereas in the manga she was a one-off character
This is the content I’ve been looking for *jedi hand wave*
This is my favorite kind of youtube videos, when someone just uploads the definitive video about a certain topic. Cheers mate!
