    Great show James and PJ them were some nice eyes and that Sturgeon was a nice bonus. The Fox has been wide open for the last week and I've been on it just about everyday. You guys must be on it today when I got off it at Metro landing I saw your truck. Hope you all had a great day on the river I can't wait for that show. Until then stay safe and tight lines.

    Hey James and PJ, couldn't help but notice that you two spent almost the whole ice season here in Wisconsin. Can't say as I blame you, but maybe you could have let some of the other guys get in on it too! Great season.

    Oh, and by the way, I think you should come and explore the other world class fishery in Wisconsin, the GIANT browns are moving shallow along both coasts of lake Michigan as we speak. After al the 2 biggest browns, EVER, came from our big lake, 42 lbs Wisconsin, 44 lbs Michigan ( that hurts to say it!)

    Any reason you can think that the set lines don’t get hit by those fish? (With the exception of the sturgeon lol)

    • @InDepthOutdoorsTV
      @InDepthOutdoorsTV  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The walleye have so much other food available they'll pass right by the minnows without giving them a second glance. To catch these fish you really need to trigger a response.

      Congrats on the 31! Green Bay is one of those bodies of water where the lures often outproduce set lines by a large margin. Not that you won't ever catch one on a setline because it does happen. But the numbers always seem to favor the lures. For us anyway. That said, the year prior when we shot a show on green bay we caught a 9# eye on a setline fished tight to the bottom so it is worth continuing to put out the setlines in the event their mood changes.
