Hi Michelle. I love your channel. I only got gifts at Christmas and my birthday too. I have the St. Cloud. I undo the strap and stuff it when im not using it. I’d love to see how you dress it up and style it. I store my bags (not many designer ones, but) in a barristers bookcase. The glass door can be closed every day.

I know! Please don’t do it! I recommend wrapping the handles to keep it clean and even.
I'm happy to note that I have been doing most of the things you've advised for many years. My bags are cleaned n stuffed n stored in dust bags .I try and change my bags very often.and clean the inside every time I change

I’m so glad I found somebody who talks about actually treating their bags with outmost respect because I am the same way sometimes I buy bags and I’m like how would you even get it to that point because it’s just for me impossible most of my bags are in such great condition even though I do use them daily some bags I don’t use daily because I just really love them and I want to keep them looking amazing so thank you so much for Being honest, I am so glad I found your channel! I just ordered a Louis Vuitton and there are some discoloration on this bag of the handles and I’m more concerned on how to clean it and I’ve been watching millions and millions of videos I’m exaggerating I watched maybe like 2020 and I’m exhausted is there a best way to, kind of get rid of some of that dirt and oil a little bit the previous user on the handles?! I will try to find the link to the TH-cam video that I think really is best for this… but yes, the handles are absolutely where you are most likely to potentially damage your bag i.e. end up putting cracks in the handles
If it's vachetta, it cannot be cleaned of dirt or oil. Do what I do and wrap the handles!

I bought a new LV 2 months ago, and I found that the quality was no longer as good as before. On the contrary, the DIOR my friend bought for me on *condupcom* three years ago is still in good condition.

Really useful video. Just purchased my 1st lv bag it's alma bb monogram canvas. I haven't used it as its rainy here in uk. Once weather is better can I use it? Are there any specific weather conditions to use to protect it from stains? I mean I could use it in summers? And also when this Rainy season ends?

Great information Michelle! Have to admit, I Apple guard my vachettas. Thankfully I did not any issues with it. It makes me sad to put my bags in the dust-bags though. Love seeing them on display. But this video is a great reminder if I want to keep

Hi there I see a lot of you tubers suggest using air paper to keep shape of bags while storing. It’s basically plastic pillows filled with air. What do you think of that?
I actually left my speedy in my car to get a quicker patina. I left all the windows done for about 20 min sessions a day. It has color in person but it doesn't show very much in photos. But getting there. Right now it's stored so I don't get it wet.

I wonder how long it takes storing in the box for it to hurt the bag? I plan on storing it in the box for a 24 hour flight. I assume damage will only be done if it’s stored for much more prolonged periods?

Hi, Michelle. I truly appreciate your tips. I purchased my first Louis Vuitton handbag in 2017. I own the Artsy MM. I wanted to preserve my purchase so I only carried the handbag 3 to 4 times a year. Unfortunately, a year ago I noticed that my Artsy had a white film and the LV monogram was fading. I contacted the LV store where I purchased my Artsy and provided my original receipt and they mentioned that I was out of the 1-2 year window of them pretty much guaranteeing the purse. I paid $1960 for a purse that have only last for 3 years. They mentioned it was nothing they can do. This is very sad. This model Artsy was a defect and they know it. It have since been discontinued. They should have did a recall and made it right for all customers. I plan to NEVER purchase another LV handbag. Although, my Artsy is in excellent condition. I do not want to carry it because in two areas of the handbag the monogram is fading away. It will appear that I’m carrying a fake purse. Shame on LOUIS VUITTON for not stand behind their product. I’m trying to get a class action suit formed.

Wow sorry for your experience , my bag peal like a snake after 5 years and when I call the toll free -## I was told to take it back to the store that I bought it from and they were very nice and apologetic about the poor material . I was able to get a different one and pay the difference as the bag I had was discontinued . It was a happy ending for me . Hope you get some good new in yours in the future.
