FREE Audi R8 Exhaust Modification That Actually Works!

I couldn't wait to get an aftermarket exhaust so i decided to try this trick i heard about! Over all a 20 minute job took me about 3 hours to do because since i ran into so many issues with this, but hey! It was free!
UPDATE:
I was told what i did wrong was "There's a much smaller actuateor behind that post. Same area you removed the engine cover. It's just a matter of removing one vacuum hose and capping the actuator with a rubber cap used for vacuum lines." I hope to that helps those of you who are looking to do this to your R8!

For those of you who don't know what this accomplishes, it disconnects the vacuum lines to the valves on the stock exhaust. Effectively keeping them in sport mode or fully open. His caps weren't working correctly and that caused a vacuum leak that set off the lights on the dash. In case you were wondering.

If this is the golf tee mod, I've seen it done closer to the exhaust muffler in the back of a v8 r8

Because the check engine light is on and it will stay on you should check it with the scanner pretty often so you can see if something real is wrong with it and you don’t drive with it. Just a tip and it sounds so much better!
