My favorite Henry Mancini tune played by my favorite guitarist on a gorgeous sounding Fibonacci Joya guitar! Doesn't get much better than this. And cogent insights into a remarkable song's charms.

Now THIS is how I like to see Martin Taylor play. A part of me never moved on from Artistry, so this is solid gold to me.

Fantastic Martin !! You play this with a bit of bossa nova feel and it moves effortlesly - one of your recent best. Its the easy listening part of this arrangement thats captivating.

Who better to demo the Joya than MT. Would be a pleasure to hear a few other guitarist’s demoing the Joya in a proper studio setting as well. This is a lovely and balanced sounding guitar. 🎧❤️

Bravo! Thank you so much for these wonderful renditions. I enjoy the commentary and the recording quality is superb. I thought the guitar sounded particularly good on this one, very rich and emotional.

Always a pleasure to hear you Sir. In this situation around the world, I wish I could see you playing a rendition of the song Halelujah by L.Cohen. Would you please consider playing this for us ? All i can say that hearing this from your guitar would give so much peace to my life. Thank you for your great music.

Taylor Swift has 55.4 million subscribers and Martin Taylor (appropriate name) has 23.7 thousand. How does that old joke go? “A rock/pop musician plays three chords in front of three thousand people while a jazz musician plays three thousand chords in front of three people.” I’m not saying that complexity by itself is better but comparing “Shake It Off” to Kern’s “All The Things You Are?” C’mon! Just in case I wake up some nutjob hiding in the woodwork…..I know he’s not playing the Jerome Kern tune in this video….I picked what I feel is a classic piece from the jazz repertoire to illustrate my point.
