Thanks for the wonderful description of the MOXF8. At my church, we have the Motif ES 8. However, you helped me to understand my instrument a little better. You are a "Great Teacher" and I appreciate your dynamic lessons that help me to improve.
I use this same model for church. IVe had this since 2016 and I still love it. Great video man. A lot of people switch to the Nord but mannn i just love this piano so much i dont wanna change lol. Once again, aweson Vid
I use this keyboard as well. A lot of people are switching to the Nord but this is a great all around board for live playing and recording. Great video
Life saver...thanks for the breakdown. I have the MOXF6 and was trying to figure out how to layer multi timbres or sounds so don't not necessarily have to bring or use a second board!
I love my MOXF8. Its a complete audio digital workstation. I've created 16 track music patterns, chained them together to create songs, and saved them to my USB drive. I wish it would convert the songs to a universal format so that I can share
Thanks for this video man It's a live changer❤ However I would like you to show us how to create those three layers on our piano too because I need it for the church And I'll be grateful if you show me how to.
I know I'm late getting to your comments. I'm a guitar person and I've been learning piano. Well, I recently got the MOXF8 and I'm nearly lost trying to figure this thing out. I've seen other people helping on TH-cam but they go into things assuming you know the basics. I need a progressive stepwise entry into using all the buttons and dials. I'd love to see you bring a series of videos to get people like me going. And, thumbs up to your playing!
Yea, me too. It's a great keyboard, but has a REALLY steep learning curve. (Allot of things are not plainly laid out). Would LOVE to see more instructional videos as well...
@@vitomasilotti So you have experience with other keyboards? I started on a piano just a year ago. I've done guitar for decades but this is my first keyboard.
@@TheGuy.. Yea, I'm a part time musician, singer/songwriter. (I also play guitar, and of course, the Keyboard). I took a chance and purchased the MOXF8 about 2 yrs ago already, at Guitar Center. I've owned and traded in a few keyboards since, but currently still have this keyboard. There's just something about it. Love the look of it, the sounds, the keyboard action is awesome, and really dig the Performance Mode thing. But as I said, there is ALLOT to it, and not easy to learn all the deeper functions...
Thanks for sharing man! Looking at options and the MOXF8 popped up, I'm primarily looking for good live performance tones and weighted 88 keys as a mandate. Surprised it does not carry additional tones from the regular Motif series (Motif 6 etc) I was looking for more Piano, Rhodes tones as options but thanks for the insight on this. Appreciate it!
Hello Justin, it does read USB. It has a USB jack and standard In, Out and Thru Midi connections in the back of it. I believe you can upload additional sounds as well. This is a great board!
I have the MOXF6 and I love it! Thank you for all the you give to others.

Thank you so much for sharing the gift with us God has blessed you with. You are the first I've seen to share this information! Blessings to you! 🙏🏾
Glad it was helpful!

MOXF 8 It’s a great keyboard! I love the action of the keys! I also have a kontakt kbd and a MODX 8, but the MOX is my favorite for the way it plays!
You are a fresh wind thank you. I have the 6 and the 8
Thank you so much!

Easy, just click on the "Layer" button and it will guide you through it.😊
🎉taught me something about a board ive had forever

Hey have you tried to connect to a DAW and record your tracks? I'm wondering about DAW compatibility.
@@CarlitoM77 yes I connect to Logic Pro- it can record both midi or audio depending on what type of track I choose. I go directly into the DAW
Thanks for this video man

Kenneth you just caused me to buy that keyboard
Great video. Thanks 🙏🏾

@@vitomasilotti I've found a few TH-cam channels that give various teaching instructions. I'd have been lost without them.

I was like you. But you can download all the sounds you need from their library through flash board.
Thank you for the video, is it possible to Play the keyboard into the computer using logic pro X , if so what is the procedure thank you .
Reviews of modx also how to zone in keyboards
Kenneth do you create you own drum bears for song performances or do you use presets off of the keyboard.
I own this as well 😊😊
Great!
I have this boatd to but thinking about upgrading to modx7 plus
appreciate the info, how do you go to the split function for piano and bass ?
How do you save your layers that you create to use next time
Thanks 🙏
Dose this keyboard have the same waveform as the XF8?
I have this bord want to learn more about it.
Kenneth I found an 8 so I bought it
Awesome! Hope you really enjoy the board.
Kenneth does this board use a specific substain pedal ?
The polarity can be changed on this board, meaning it can be used on any standard foot pedal whether positive or negative polarity.
Man I canceled my order because they didn't have the 8 but the 6 . I wanted weighted keys so I didn't get the 6
I use the MOXF6
Does that board read USB or you need midi to USB??

I have 8.
Teach me to create my personal arps performances.
