Built in 1923, Jim. Emeryville has lots of old industrial buildings still being used but for completely different things.

Yes, you are so right. I always say to my coworkers when I have one that people pay good money for a workout like we’re getting right now. We’re getting paid for a workout. Thank you for watching. Thank you for your nice comment. Stay strong and healthy. Bye-bye.

Maybe add a length of pipe to that exterior test line fitting and let it drip out a little closer to the ground. Nobody would see it then! 🤫

Yes, you are so right and I should have done that but I was just so excited to be finished with that job! Thank you for that. Nice comment and suggestion. Stay strong and healthy. Bye-bye bye

Building might be 1923. Sprinker system is probably early 2000s. That's a escutcheon not a skirt. Teflon and dope those threads, so I don't have to come back and fix any of your leaks!

You sure know your stuff! Yeah, a lot of these old buildings have newer fire sprinkler systems. But when you see that screwed 6 inch pipe you know you’re in an old building. Thank you for watching and thank you for your nice comments and all your information. Stay strong and healthy. Bye-bye bye

@ I work in a building that (before sprinklers were required) in the mid 1940s they tapped off the main coming in the building. The entire sprinkler system is done in brass. The system is still there, live, the heads were last relpaced in 1964

Wow, that is awesome. I’d like to see some pictures of that. And yeah, those pads need to be tested or maybe they have them? Thank you for the great story and thank you for the information. Stay strong and healthy. 555.
