Jeremy & George are back in 'Odd'er Creek for the Winter and they're adding to their Ranch
They've purchased additional property, known to the locals as, "The Church Lot"
As they finalize and close on the new property, the old owner tells them many tales of the issues with a common neighbor
As they further explore their property, they find their own issues with the neighbor
They caught them in the act of trespassing and hunting on their property

Yes, the last thing George needs is a tick borne illness, few years back my Dad got "Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever/a tick borne illness" had a extremely high fever for a few days before going to hospital- almost had a stroke.

You should do a prescribed burn on that piece of property. It will clear the brush and you will see a ton of stuff previously hidden by the foliage.
Totally agree with liking all the history you guys keep coming up with. You have to LOOK OUT for snakes when lifting up old pieces of wood and metal, they like to hide under that kind of stuff. God Bless and keep the videos coming.

That is so cool, finding the old Church. Can you contact the Sr Paster of the present church, if it still exists and see if they want any of the artifacts? Also Brian just needs to quit before you own the land his house sits on.
Can you take some of the old pew metal to make a pew/bench for the loved ones lost there... a bench for the ones who come to respect their loved ones...
My grandparents were the elders of our AME church in Alabama. When I joined the Air Force, I had to always correct people who tried to tell me that I was either Methodist or Episcopalian. Lol
There's only one way to keep them of and that is to occupy the land or set out the boundaries
You should be marking all of these spots with flag markers right on the flag of what it is that you found there and then you could put everything together like a puzzle

You should contact a local university and see if the have an anthropologist or archeologist to do a dig on that site
SUGGESTION??? Build a PEW & Make it as a MEMORIAL to the SON at the roadside. Just an idea if you haven't thought of it first. Congrats on the purchase. Luv ya's: GRAM in TX.
Although I think making a church pew is awesome! If you’re able to make a few of them and give at least one to the new church to show appreciation for the history that’d be even better. Just a thought a though.

Jeremy you should build a small one room church where you found the pews where the old one was. Dedicate it to the Methodist African American Church that was there.

If you know of someone who can witch for water. Have them look for possible grave sites. Our local historical society has found grave sites using that method. Not a joke!

Hi guys Just wanted to say that if you think you found something cool you should try to remove the vegitation first that way you dont break what you found by forcing it out of the ground it takes longer but less things will be broken

Y'all should watch the movie Rosewood.. It's based on a true story in 1927.. It's about a town that was burned to the ground and the underground railroad right there in Florida.. It's how most of the African Americans were treated and how the escaped.. Grab a box of tissues cuz yull need them.. Definitely a lot of history in Florida if ya want to take the time to research it..

I use to live in that area , didn't stay long ,to much cocain,crack and meth .it was none as " quaint little fishing village with a drinking problem."

Jeremy and George, my family; Mimi, Frank, Shelby, Gregory and I as well as others here in town want to say Thank You for allowing us to honor Frankie there. We have been hesitant to put much there. For those who don't know, Frankie was 37 years old. He had a personality larger than life and was well loved. While no one knows exactly what happened, he was riding his 4 wheeler when he was thrown off. Thoughts are he swerved to avoid something or someone. He suffered traumatic brain injury. He left behind a 9 yr old son, wife, Mimi (sister) and us (parents). Again Thank you so much. You are such a blessing to us. Kim

You should make multiple benches for around the ranch.
It would be cool if they could recreate the old ones, If any pictures exist of them, and donate one to a local historical society too. Doesn’t have to be a huge one, but maybe just a small one that needs two of the metal pieces. Maybe even make one to put by the memorial site they showed us for when/if that family comes by to visit.

It would be nice if you used the pew legs to use as a base for a bench and make a little garden there to memorialize the church.
Before you even showed the first of the legs for the pews I was thinking it would be nice to have some pews there and have an outdoor worship area. I am enjoying learning the history of the property.
