I own a Bajaj Avenger 220 bike, model is 2013. I'm facing a issue for a long time, which is bike not exceeding above 80kmph at most of the times. Especially in rain it happens .
Can suggest me a solution ,how to come over of that.

12 th reason which is now available and which is the best thing happened to such bikes is the ABS system, which has made the braking part very comfortable and safe... and i am so happy to now own the abs version of street 220.. :)

James Cruise I haven't. And the 2018 edition , I cannot say about. I only rode it for a while.

I have a classic 350 as well, but I ride only the avenger. I cannot bear the vibrations and the weight of the bullet.
Here is my priority list:
1 Avenger Street 220.
2 Hero Maestro.
3 Honda Activa.
4 Bullet.

I have answered this question a lot of time mate. Here's one more time:
If you are buying a motorcycle for mostly city rides, day to day office work, market trips etc & for just weekend rides of around 300 kms, then go for Street 160 (Street 150 is discontinued).
But, if you are more into long rides, inter city rides, mostly ride for long journey of say 600 kms a day, then you should go for 220.
Basically, 160 for city and weekend short rides and 220 for highways and long rides.

tubeless tyres
130 kmph
bro, from where have you purchased it because these are not there in my street 220

Did 130kmph once. Don’t want to try again.
But, easily does 120kmph.
No tubeless Tyres though.

Never go for a second hand pulsar.. specially 220.. people tend to ram the pulsars.. pulsars are mostly used and abused a lot. but again depends on the previous seller. You would be better with an avenger, its not that harsh..

Avenger cruise or street comes with tubeless? If not is there any possibility to change it to tubeless.
Street comes with tubeless.ncruise comes with spoke and it is possible to replace but the cost will be high.

Technical glitch if you are looking for a bike for a rider if 5ft 6in, with highway capability... Look no further than Avenger. Whether its Cruise or Street. NS is also good but a street fighter wont give you comfort on highways. Go with Avenger.

Go with Street 220, you can modify it later just like cruise.
but if you buy cruise you wont get tubeless tyres...
thats why street.
so street is better option and have benefit of modifying to cruiser type handle and back rest

lakshman ganesh no concrete figures for now. but it will be around 35 for sure.
Compared to avenger 150 any other difference than matt finish and engine CC? I think 150 cc for me I weigh 90kg. it provides good average right? What do you think?
myYooudTime weight will not matter here. Both can handle 90 KGS. They differ in their usability. As a rule of thumb:
150 street- for city
220 street- for highways

myYooudTime you won't be comfortable on 150 for long time. It does not mean that you can't do it on 150 but 220 will be better. And about stealing. Keep it in sight, always lock handle. And keep it in covers, get a disc lock.

this bike is said to have too much heating issues. is that true?
Antony Clinton bike heats up when its new, when you get it serviced for the second time that issue gets resolved. If it still gets hot then you have to tighten the idle screw a bit.
Overall its not an issue.
There is no abs break for rear wheel that's y I refused to take this bike.
Well, Avenger is infamous for its rear braking. But I'll be honest, it is decent enough.
Also skidding issue because of this breaks, that's y I took classic 350 bs6
@@shaikkhalid9936 Well I have Classic 350 too. And I never felt that the brakes are any better than that of Avenger. Maybe I am a slow rider. But I have heard people complaining about rear skidding.
I have the habit of putting both the brakes at once so never had that issue, not in Avenger, not in classic.

mt9364 buddy bought it after gst. The prices are down I guess after gst implementation. Bought it from sai service, andheri. Its near to WEH metro station, but got it without any accessories!!

theXplorer so do I need to keep the bike in 5th gear while riding at
munawar ali i know its a bit uncomfortable. But 5th gear is from 55 upwards. So keep it at around 60, if you cannot.. Go till 65 but not more. You will find it more comfortable.
