Our Complete Oogie Boogie Bash Halloween Party Experience At Disney California Adventure!

- In today's vlog we head into Disney California Adventure for the Oogie Boogie Bash Halloween Party! Thank you to Disney for inviting us to attend this special event! We started the night with a quick look at the media preview area where we saw some of the event treats and met Mickey Mouse dressed in his vampire Halloween costume. Then we head into the park to watch Mickey's Trick & Treat show, it's more of a Disney Junior style show but it was very cute, Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy came out on stage and sang and danced and told a spooky story. Then we head into the first of many treat trails. The trails a different here than in Florida because there are characters in most of the treat trails, we loved this idea!! We saw Oogie Boogie, Dr. Facilier, The Evil Queen and Maleficent, it was really cool to see them talking and interacting with guests as we went through the trail! I hope we Disney World does something like this at future Halloween Parties! Then it's time to head over to watch the Frightfully Fun Parade, this was the same parade that was at the Disneyland Halloween Party in years passed but we loved it just the same. It's a shorter parade but the floats and the characters are the best!! The soundtrack is one of our favorites. We watched the new World of Color Villainous! show, it had a cute storyline all about how it's okay to be yourself even if it's not the popular choice, we liked it but it wouldn't be a repeat watch for us if we went to another party. We ended the night with a walk through Villains Grove, which was DIsney's take on a haunted trail, it was the highlight of the night for us. I don't think it translated as well into video as it did in real life but it was seriously so amazing! We hope to see more things like this in Orlando during Halloween, we loved it! The Descendance Party! I saw full videos of that and there was a tribute to Cameron Boyce where they showed dalmatian prints on the screen during You and Me, made their hands into a paw and raised their arms and swayed, and yes I did cry.

Cheshire Cat isn't a villain, but he's definitely an Antagonist, he doesn't exactly help Alice!
That's what I thought too!!!
But he does help Alice wake up or else she could have stayed longer in wonderland or her head could have been "cut" off her head or been attacked by the wonderland residents. The Cheshire Cat also helps Alice find her way in a very confusing way, he even helps Alice escape from Tulgey Woods!

The Kingdom Hearts Donald and Goofy are actually the rarest Disney characters. Only at Disneyland and only brought out during Halloween & very rare occasions (like KH announcements). That's why their lines are always long.

More locals at Disneyland makes it easier for people to dress up. We are headed to Disney World in a couple weeks from Kansas and are just wearing tshirts. So much to pack already for a family of 4, adding big costumes just takes up lots of luggage space and space in the hotel. Or maybe I'm just a lazy mom. Thanks for posting all your videos, we love spending down time watching them instead of regular tv. Sure helps the cable bill!
Also, Florida weather doesn't make it easy to create an elaborate costume as you'll most likely end up losing 50 pounds from sweating lol

And how cool that they had all those different kind of characters (as well as the rare outfits for the mains) that you don't get to see! Tim, you're right. Cheshire Cat is not a villian. Mischief, sure, but not villainous. TinkerBell is more of a villain. She tried to kill Wendy three times during the movie and never apologized or felt remorse. This could start a flame war, but I stand by my opinion.
