Disney California Adventure Favorites & First Time On The Pixar Pal-A-Round Swinging Gondolas!

- In today's vlog we head to Disney's California Adventure for some fun before we leave and head back home to Orlando! We start the day with some of our favorite rides in the park, Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout, Monsters Inc: Mike and Sully to the Rescue!, Incredicoaster, Radiator Springs Racers, Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters, and Soarin' Over California!! We got so many awesome rides in on this day! Then we ended the day with our very first ride on the Pixar Pal-A-Round (formerly the Mickey's Fun Wheel swinging gondolas but some called it the Mickey's Death Wheel lol!) It honestly wasn't as bad as I thought it would be! It was a lot of fun! This was a super fun day and I'm so happy we were able to get some park days in on this trip. I still think they need to make a rollercoaster of Monsters Inc from the door scene
That's been the popular rumor of how they would rework Rockin' Roller Coaster in Hollywood Studios.
imagine it as a single rail coaster
Years ago they were going to! Back in the day they had plans to turn the area of Hollywood land where the monsters inc ride is into a mini monsters inc land with one ride being the door rollercoaster. Plans ended up falling through however.

He probably held it in to make sure we got to hear the soundtrack for the ride. I know I can’t go on it without screaming and laughing like a maniac. I’ve been on it several times and I still haven’t been able to hear any of it. Lol
there's an old video where they tried to do Tower of Terror as many times as they could in a row. Drop rides just don't phase him!

Sadie Mae Yeah, “Paying the Price” is kind of how you repay them for the video. Liking, sharing, etc. The phrase was a movie or TV quote they started using but I can’t remember what it’s from, haha.

Proud Mom Moment - my son is a 25 Yr CM at the DLR and worked on the Radiator Springs Racers project with the Imagineers, from ground-breaking ceremony to opening day. Just love it. It's one of the best attractions in DCA!

Honestly I think it's a great idea to have Soarin' in CA be Soarin' over California still. Since the rest of the park is becoming more Disney/Marvel themed, I think it's a nice little bit of the California theme to leave as a reminder of the park's past, other than the giant bear mountain lol. Also having Soarin' in Florida be Soarin' Around the World makes more sense since it goes with the multicultural theme Epcot has going on.
