I would love to see a video where you go through how you get your pov footage, camera, camera settings, where you mount it, and post color corrections. Cause it looks so good.
Surely you go thru ur old bikes and compare your old bikes to ur new ones and talk about the differences and what are ur favourite bits about each bike
You should get the 76 projects enduro mount for the wahoo, it puts the wahoo on the top tube and is much more aesthetically pleasing for the viewer and is in a safer place if you crash, yet you can still easily see your stats on the climbs.
Just picked up and built a offering v2 frame and I have to say I love this bike! I can only imagine how much fun the wreckoning is going downhill. I hate to use the words playful and poppy since you know overplayed but this bike is the most sproingy I have ever ridden. Look forward to hearing more.
Put the wahoo mount on the seat tube so that it’s out of the way but still accessible and when you put the wahoo on just put it on upside down so you can just look down and see it as normal
Feel your pain brother. Grade 2 sprain of my ankle last Monday. Sucks to be out just as the weather is turning for the better. Nice check. I’ve more or less committed to the Wahoo Bolt myself, and am contemplating cushcore. Little worried about the added weight though since my wheels already aren’t light.
Idk if anyone has said this BUT, make sure you buy the wahoo tether because when you crash, that bolt will go flying. I almost lost mine when I crashed because of that!
I dislocated my big toe on a stump riding at Whistler last summer. Not fun. Two points of advice: 1. If it’s big toe, get some physio and exercising going ASAP! 2. Invest in steel toe flat sole shoes (eg Dakota brand at Marks) so you can keep riding with reduced risk until fully healed. Yes they are heavy as hell and those who look carefully will think you have clown shoes on, but hey, you’re riding! Get well!
Yo Nic Handsome steed! You may want to put your Wahoo on the top tube. I've killed at least three BOLTS because they were on my bars. When your bike goes down the bars make contact. You may recall Eric/BCPOV also started putting it on the bike frame instead 😎👍🏾
The build is sick but you should get the matchmaker x/inspec adapter for the trp brakes. I have trp quadiums and I got the adapter strait from trp, they should work on dhr-evo's because the lever body is almost 100% the same
As soon as this bike gets in stock, like anywhere, I am going to grab one! Thanks for the bike check, always cool to see what parts and components people ride in the gnar of the North Shore.
I’ve had the fid lock on my bikes since 2018 when I got my jeffsy and needed the low profile to fit. Wont recommend any other one now. Never lost a bottle with one even when mounted to the bottom of the downtube. By far the most secure bottle holder.
I never reply to this comment section but I definately understand what you mean about rolling resistance with maxxgrip Assegais!!!! Never doing that on the rear again
Can you do a video about your GoPro settings and mounting your camera? I like your Pov angles the most and would like to mimic them i my GoPro shots. Enjoying your content pal! Keep up the good work.
Epic video mate! The bike is super sick and the custom kit makes it that bit more special. I’ve been wondering if you’ll be taking the ShockWiz and using it to set up the Evil. It would make for a great video down the road
I rode an XT derailleur for the first time in years and that thing was flopping around making all kinds of noise. Interesting that you have had the opposite experience
VanCan i don’t know if it would work with Cush core because it’s a bit less beefy but I run Rimpact tyre inserts with 24psi in the back and 16-18 in the front and the shape of the insert holds the tyre up nicely. I’m also a fair bit lighter than you but I find sub-20 in the front to be a game changer!
Curious what settings you’re running on the fox 38? I’m same weight with same bike and can’t seem to get my 38 dialed. Never rode the zeb but loved my old lyrik ultimate. Went to the 38 for adjustability but think the factory recommended settings are way off.
isn't that snake oil? I have heard that they aren't that accurate. Plus overall accuracy seems better on the wahoo according to the latest Pinkbike comparison from a few weeks ago
@@viperrules24 not at all snake oil.. Yeah sometimes it's not super accurate, but it's always within a few feet on every jump I do on my local trails. Sometimes it's 25ft, sometimes it's 26ft, sometimes hang time is 0.9s sometimes its 0.7s. I'd say it's accurate enough

Just curious if you have experience with them on Hardtails. PS: Bike is stupid cool. Black and bronze all day son.
so, they have numerous advantages and disadvantages, the biggest advantage being that they offer incredible traction, the biggest disadvantage being they can be quite slow rolling. also take into account that the bike industry is moving away from those sizes, and if you need new tires, their might not be any.
How much does the bike weigh? i have a 2020 patrol with essentially the same parts youve got on your bike aside from the brakes and shock and it weighs a hefty 36lbs 12oz so essentially 37lbs. i can still take it on very long climbs and it doesn't really feel like it weighs 37 lbs but on a scale, that's what it says. im really curious how much other long travel enduro bikes weigh. manufacturers rarely ever post that kind of info because it can vary so much

Wreckoning vs enduro viddddddeeeeooooo
I'd be curious if there is any trail that crosses back and forth between the US/Canada border. International riding?
Do a trial walkthrough on a difficult trail showing the lines and bring Dale to do the riding.
That’s a great idea.

Have you tried tannus tubeless inserts? Same ride characteristics as Cush core with less weight penalty
Nice 🤤 and them fixed rrp mudguards are the best I have on my strive 👍

So true about sram drivetrains having the chainslap, heavy drop on my xo1, sounds like something snaps and it’s scary lol.
I’m thinking about getting a chain guide for my bike. I can’t go off a curb without that slap
