@@meganNefarious for me, my stumpy was very plush (alloy comp) it absorbed everything and was great for technical downhills as the tires never left the ground. the evil is quite the opposite, it prefers to be airborne. it can and will jump off anything. I owned a sight for this past season before switching to a Yeti-SB150 and can't say enough good things about it. It's also worth noting that you can throw a 170mm fork and install a longer stroke shock 55-57.5 on the sight if you were to desire more travel.

I bought the Sight A3 in December and love the bike! I only had a couple chances to ride here in north Idaho (actually at Beacon Hill in Spokane) but the slack headtube angle and 29" wheels already saved my bacon over some sketchy parts of some trails. I would vote for the Wreckoning. I have a Following MB and an Offering. The older model you looked at, same color with X01 and 160 Lyrik. I've also recently had an Ibis HD4 to compared to. Evil's rear suspension has an amazing feel and all of their bikes have built in fun factor. I grew up on BMX too and love the playful feel! I think we all saw your new bike on Loam Ranger's video yesterday, unless that was a demo ;) Part of me would also think, throw a good coil shock and Fox 38 or Zeb at the Enduro and it will be outperforming most of this list. Of what is on that list, I think the Altitude would probably suit what Nick rides the most, the bit more nimble handling vs the freeride bikes helps on North Shore stuff, but still has the travel to take the big hits. I own a Ripmo myself, it's a great bike, but I think it would be a little undergunned on the North Shore, the DVO suspension is absolutely amazing though.

Even my smaller Endorphin feels like a smaller version of my DH rigs perfectly damped suspension. Its so controlled and confidence inspiring. Not sure how much the coil out back contributes to that feel. Only one small issue with Knolly bikes... The frames are a bit hefty - but the ride, well its second to none. Thanks again. I think it's funny that Melamed, on his Altitude, had the geo tweaked to basically mimic the Slayer he had been riding before.
