    Even if you're having only six interruptions an hour that's like somebody waking you up every 10 minutes from sleeping and repeating that 10 times an hour for as many hours as you sleep it's still not good no matter what which is what he says in this video

    My husband just had a sleep study and his AHI was 63.4 per hour and oxygen sat was 72%. They rushed him a cpap and it just came in today. It’s the quietest he’s been sleeping since about 2005. He never snored before that and it was so bad that I couldn’t sleep until I got used to hearing it. At no point did anyone ever tell us that that type of snoring could possibly mean sleep apnea. I really found your video very informative. He will be on this cpap every single night from this point forward. Thanks!

      This is glorious, been searching for "which of these is characteristic of sleep apnea?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - letochy fast apnea plan - (should be on google have a look ) ? It is a great one of a kind guide for discovering how to get rid of sleep apnea without the normal expense. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my work buddy got cool success with it.

    I could totally see my family chasing me down with one of these masks.
    One thing you should mention in your videos is, swelling in lower extremities.
    Aside from all of the symptoms you have already mentioned, one MAJOR complication that I developed, that made my DR really look at my sleeping, is that my ankles and lower legs swell.
    It causes excessive to be almost impossible, which in turn messes with my weight, and heart even more. So... yay me. I always wanted to feel I belonged somewhere... however, this .... this isn't where I thought my wish would lead me.

    I threw up weekly. Daily headaches. Life was miserable. Finally had to beg for a sleep study. 4 days I started to feel better. 7 days using it I stopped throwing up. Headaches dropped by 80% min. I never snored, smoked, not fat, no fatty neck issues. Almost zero symptoms . keeps me alive

    Severity aside, I’m on day 9 of using a CPAP machine and I’m wondering at what point my sleep may improve because right now I’m getting less sleep than before I started using the damn thing! My exhaustion has me hoping for death soon because that seems to be the only way I’ll get any sleep soon! My sleep apnea was diagnosed as severe so I guess I’m just screwed!

    I don't get it I sleep elevated, wedge and 7 pillows plus lost 85lbs still am exhausted every day and sleep horrible. I had much worse night events before elevated my head and lost weight. Recently decided to take at home test and my pAHI 3% was 3.8, pRDI was 10.6, ODI 4% 1.1, pAHIc 3% .5 and pAHI 4% 1
    Not sure I believe the results but we shall see I'm absolutely beat bed ridden from fatigue if I even try strenuous activities it ruins me or sleeping pills ect anything that makes me more tired I have worse episodes at night.
    I did not do these before my test and slept with my wedge and pillows. Maybe I should not have? Test also showed heart rate going up to 100 and sometimes over up to 12 times.
    Every so often like one day ever few months I'll wake up feeling decent like I slept then back to feeling absolutely wiped out and get headaches and palpitations when I sleep bad. On top of it I have celiac and crohns and have had a flare up since months after sleep disturbances started in 2017

    • @thecpapgentleman9442
      @thecpapgentleman9442  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I believe this kind of surgery would require you to be intubated, so there's no risk of airway obstruction if you have sleep apnea. Not advice of course! It's always best to consult your primary doctor and make sure your OP team is aware that you've been diagnosed with the condition. I'm just a guy on TH-cam after all.

      @@ricardomota939 no, I use an apnea bracer. It works, almost every desaturation event gone during sleep. I have more desaturation events whilst exercising, especially running, so apnoea is probably just a secondary symptom. Post covid is pure hell.
