Any issue with spreading protected urea at the mid widths? I'm hearing a lot of people talking about strippy fields because it wasn't travelling through the air that far.
On your gps it looks like you have the spreader set for just behind the tractor. The fertiliser is being thrown back around the same distance as the width so your line should be behind the tractor that far too. Might make it a small bit more accurate for you.
It's an Irish website where we can record grass covers, fertiliser use, milk sales, etc. It is very useful for managing the fields. You can also see growth rates in other parts of the country and predicted growth rates.
Great videos Mark, always well explained and informative. Can I ask are you gone back to 10 in 7 milking again this year? Have you any experience of 13 times a week for the back end of the year? Thinking of trying 13 this year and see how it goes.

Yes currently doing 11in 7, same as 10 in 7 but TAD on Saturday instead of OAD. Never tried the 13 milkings myself
When you change the width of spreader you are supposed to tray test it that's what we were always told and that was rauch that told us that
I think I will tray test with new fertiliser but have got on very well with the current applications
@@MCMilkingIt ok I spread with the big tailed rauch spreader and they always told us to try test maybe your machine is more modern that the one I used
