Man thank you so much. I've been extremely frustrated with this very problem. Thanks for the step by step.
Glad it helped! Tell a friend 😇
Thanks man. You're a legend!
Great video, thanks!
WORKS! Thanks!
Great tutorial!
Thanks so much for this. It worked perfectly. Previously, I was trying to make the connection using Make's instructions, but it got complicated really quickly.
Thanks! We hope you like our other videos too.
Man thank you so much my friend excelent job
Great video and a gamer changer. I was totally stuck on this exact thing. Your step by step process was easy to understand and it worked. Thanks!
Thank you so much Xray Automation. I want to ask if, I will need to go through same process to connect my google drive to make?
Nope, a personal google drive shouldn’t need the same type of extra configuration.
Just connect it directly to Make.com and you’re good to go!
A very big thanks to you man!
From the team here at XRay, we thank you 🙏
Thanks, my friend...
Great video thanks a lot!
Our pleasure!
Thankuuuuu Sir!!! Love from Pak.

I recommend deleting the project that is not working... start from ZERO following every step of this VIDEO...
WELL WORTH it😅
Super!!! Tks a lot!!!
You are welcome!
thanks but have one concern: received this message after authorization "You have until November 29th 2024, 07:09 AM (Fri) to reauthorize your connection. For more details see our online help." no way to may this permanent?
Thanks for the tutorial!!! Amazing content. Will this set up prevent us from having to permanently refresh the connection with our google accounts??
Thank you! We really appreciate it.
Your options are limited:
- buy a domain & use a business google account
- use Zapier
This is just a quirk of Make.com for now.
Great tutorial, I unfortunately can’t get rid of this error
“ 403 (insufficientPermissions): Insufficient Permission “
Try adding additional scopes to your GCP permissions.
why wont the filter let me type "Gmail API"? it shows no results so i cant add the scopes... what am I doing wrong?

Hi man! I did the steps, but a few days later, it stop working, telling me that I need a verification. How do I solve this problem?
Great call-out.
Unfortunately, this is a unique problem for personal Gmail accounts. Periodically you’ll need to reverify.
The only way we know of to eliminate that problem is to use a business or school account instead of a personal account.
Followed all step but keep getting error message. :Failed to verify connection 'My Google Custom connection'. Status Code Error: 400" How do I fix this?? Thanks!
There's a bunch of possible misconfigurations here... Debugging through comments is tough, we just need a lot more information.

same error keeps coming for me too :(
Hi, I did everything as you explained in the video. Thanks. Unfortunately every few days Make displays an authorization error and connections to Make have to be manually authorized again in Gmail. What could I have done wrong ? I would greatly appreciate your help.
Hi Marcus!
Unfortunately, this is a limitation of using a personal Gmail account with Make. Because your Google Cloud project is set to “internal” and “testing”, Google will need to reauthorize every week. However, if you set the project to “external” and “public”, then Google will try to verify that you’re the owner of the authorized domains (integromat.com and make.com). Since you’re not the owner of those domains, that won’t work.
Hopefully, Make will build a better integration soon for personal Gmail accounts, so the workaround in this video won’t be needed at all. In the meantime, you’ll have to either keep reauthorizing every week, or try setting up a Google Workspace instead. A Google Workspace account can be connected to Make like any other app, and you won’t need to reauthorize all the time. Workspace plans start at $6/mo.
Alternatively, you could also try using Zapier for your Gmail automation instead. It’s a more expensive automation platform than Make, but it will let you connect personal Gmail accounts much more easily, and you shouldn’t need to reauthorize so frequently.
Thank you so much!
Glad it helped!
