ANA has always been one of the best airlines in the world. One area that I think they can improve upon is the in-flight entertainment, but other than that when it comes to service, comfortability, punctuality, reasonable pricing, and ease of mind hassle-free there's few like ANA. Great Video!

I last flew ANA in 1991. SYD NRT LHR and return on 747 300. The nose camera was the great innovation for me at the time as well as the female crew changing into maid style uniforms for the service.

More privacy, comfort and it's really worth the price. Their tag line for Qsuites is "First In Business" and it really is true. It's been voted the best Business Class in the world. Both are really solid though!
Nice comprehensive review. ANA's cabin service and outstanding flight attendants put them in the "top tier" of international airlines. Simon, your liver must be in excellent condition to handle all of that alcohol 😂. I used to indulge like that when I was younger and on long haul flights. Nowadays, if I did that I would be so sick and dehydrated. Take care and I will be looking forward to seeing your upcoming programs.
I flew ANA in April from Tokyo to Chicago. The only complaint I have is I was so excited to use the Polaris lounge, but they told me since I was not flying United on the way back I was not allowed access since it was an arrival.. First world problems lol. ANA is absolutely top notch though!
I flew nearly the exact route, but ORD-HND with JAL on one of their 773ERs a couple months before you did. Still have to work on that video.... Can't wait to try ANA out on a similar routing!
When i flew ANA the room from JFK to HND it was such an amazing experience. I did find the cabin was a bit warm. But. You miss trying out their ramen, it came with butter for the soup. But since then they have changed the ramen to a different flavor.
Even if it costs more to fly on ANA or JAL I appreciate the quality of travel for the cost. One of the best in flight experiences I have ever had and consistently delivered a quality product. The Japanese are just something else

I flew this aircraft between HND and JFK last week. Great seat but English language options on the IFE are very limited. Kept drinking the kabosu all throughout the flight.
Westjet in Canada will shut down all of their other airlines (Swoop and SunWing), if you want to add more airlines to the list try it while it lasts :(.
My mom and I flew on American Airlines from Chicago-O’Hare to Tokyo-Narita back in 2006 and I think it was February. And I also think it was an old Boeing 777 livery colors.
Regarding your plane it actually came in from a different airport in Tokyo HND NH112 then went back to NRT as NH11 from ORD. At a push become NH819/820 then back to HND via ORD as NH12/111
Hi, odd question but is there a way to stream movies onto the screen? I'd like to watch a movie marathon on the plane as I'm flying next year but not sure if it's possible
Im not convinced about flying in a REVERSE SEATING configuration . ( no wonder an additional shoulder belt was added ) Even on trains I prefer to seat in the direction of Travel .. But this is personal . Any Opinions from other viewers would be appreciated .
Was quite surprised by the use of paper cups for water and soft drinks, as well as really cheap splinter-prone chopsticks (which the FA asked me to retain between meal trays)
What is it like riding in an airplane facing backwards like that? I get motion sick easily, so I feel like it would be slightly disorientating (I can't handle riding on train/bus seats that face backwards). Or is it not really noticeable?
How is this compared to JAL's business class? I've been on JAL's twice and i've loved their food, but their seats and storage space is a bit lacking compared to others ive been on. (Asiana, Qatar, Korean, Turkish, and even American) These seats look sick but wondering how the food and service is compared to JAL. Looking forward to riding on this next year.

I've flown ANAs A380 business from HNL to NRT which was great, but the room is definitely next level! Going to have to take this next time.
