so interesting! i've been living in crown heights for 4 years now and have always been so curious about our hasidic neighbors. my dog insists on going to the predominantly hasidic side on our daily walks and often solicits pets/affection from folks who pass by. this has led to some conversations and I’m always tickled when they have a THICK brooklyn accent. very nice people!
My husband is jewish, and he always tells me that he wanted a big family because he grew up with six brothers. We currently have five children, and he keeps telling me that he wants two more. Growing up with five brothers and being my parents' only daughter was the best thing that can happen to me. Being a mother is the best full-time job, and I enjoy every second of it.

The woman initially explaining that married women do not shake hands, is like a beacon of light. Family is important to me, and I feel she is very faithful and devoted to being a mother and wife.
@@cheribee968 Also Married men don’t shake a woman’s hand. I had a house ,one wanted to look at & I was inside going to welcome him & his driver in to to see the home in south Jersey . I don't get the whole wearing a wig for modesty thing. I mean, I get that they want to cover their hair, but how does it make any sense if you're just covering it with other hair that still looks as if it's not concealed? It's like if someone went around in public in a tan colored suit with pictures of private parts printed on it, that looks like a realistic naked body, but they claim they're not naked because, technically they're not. But they still look like they are, so it would still be immodest and inappropriate. So what's the point?
Why are you so concerned about the personal attire of a community you don't belong to? She's not hurting anyone by wearing a wig, and your analogy to a naked body suit with pictures of private parts is just bizarre. Maybe mind your own business?
You're right. The wigs are supposed to look like wigs. It's a huge movement in the ultra-orthodox world right now to stop the wearing of "lacetop wigs", a certain kind of wig that looks very realistic. the more religious usually have wigs that look pretty wiggy. Because you're right: there's little point in wearing a wig if it doesn't look like a wig.

Chasidim (members of Hasidic Jewish communities) engage in a wide range of occupations, though their professional choices are often shaped by their community's values and lifestyle. Wholesale and Manufacturing: Some are involved in wholesale distribution, particularly in sectors like clothing, textiles, or household goods. 4. Skilled Trades: Some work in trades such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, or construction, often within their communities. 6. IT and Technology: Younger generations are increasingly entering the tech industry, working in IT, software development, or tech support. 7. Healthcare: Some pursue careers in healthcare, such as nursing, physical therapy, or healthcare administration. 8. Nonprofit Work: Many Chasidim work for community organizations, providing social services, charity work, or support for their community members. Their lifestyle often emphasizes balancing work with family life and religious study, and some may work fewer hours to dedicate time to their spiritual commitments.

Beautiful family. I'm very interested in learning about the Jewish people, even more now that my son's DNA came back with a good chunk of Ashkenazi Jew (my ex said, but didn't realize how much) lol. I grew up Catholic, so I understand having a lot of rituals that don't always make sense as well.
Ashkenazi jews is more an ethnic thing. “An Ashkenazi Jew is a person whose ancestors lived in Central and Eastern Europe, including Germany, Poland, and Russia. The term "Ashkenazi" comes from Hebrew and means "German". History The term "Ashkenazi" was originally used to describe a cultural group of Jews who settled in the Rhineland in Germany in the 10th century. Many Ashkenazi Jews migrated to other parts of Europe, especially eastward. The Holocaust killed a large percentage of Ashkenazi Jews, and many survivors moved to other countries. Genetics Ashkenazi Jews are more likely to carry genetic mutations that increase their risk of certain diseases, such as breast cancer, ovarian cancer, and Crohn's disease. These mutations are more common in Ashkenazi Jews because they are descended from a small group of people, and Jewish people have historically married within their own ethnic group. Population About half of Jewish people around the world today identify as Ashkenazi. Most Jewish people living in the United States are of Ashkenazi descent. “
Wow! The wigs have sure changed. When I was a kid, orthodox women wore sheitels that looked like helmets. The best as she says are European hair. There is a real prejudice against hair from India after a huge scandal some years ago. A top dealer in sheitels bought hair from India that turns out to be hair that young women gave as offerings to Hindu temple idols! Uhhh... NOT kosher.
A lot of passive aggressive comments here. Whatever your choices in life are what i hate is when people try to force their beliefs on me, dominate & want to destroy others through murder using their beliefs to justify it. Not seeing that here, personally religion is not for me too many deaths & coercive control of women in the name of it but i do find all religions fascinating. I assume they keep it within due to their strict beliefs & lifestyle, work very hard, save & invest in their community, their choice. Shame others don’t, communities would be way better off if they did. At least they’re aren’t forcing it down your throat or judging your beliefs, just explaining theirs, as the tolerance towards all their strands has been off the chart outrageous since 10/23.

Ashkenazi Jews are more likely to carry genetic mutations that increase their risk of certain diseases, such as breast cancer, ovarian cancer, and Crohn's disease.
These mutations are more common in Ashkenazi Jews because they are descended from a small group of people, and Jewish people have historically married within their own ethnic group.
Population
About half of Jewish people around the world today identify as Ashkenazi.

Uhhh... NOT kosher.
Horrible loud music
Disturbing that their lives & minds are controlled by arbitrary rules & customs of a book.

Me molestan que se crean la gente elegida de Dios ,ellos no son más que los demás,yo les respeto pero pido el mismo respeto

Cult life. Be sure to watch other channels, especially Cults to Consciousness to learn the truth and the horrible realities of this cult. You will be shocked.
This is a cult…women don’t have a chance…🤷♀️
No its not s cult. It is merely a branch of the Jewish religion.
The same as Methodists, Baptists, Lutherans, and Episcopals are all Christians.
9 beutiful husband. My great grandmother (Catholic) managed 11 (10 lived) but both her first and then second husband died, poor her, but here in my office is a photo of her with the 10 children including the baby after her 2nd husband died. I only managed 5. We are all united on this planet by family, children and all those things we have in common.
