    Thanks for sharing openly.
I am of the older generation (51) and only just got diagnosed yesterday. My partner initially brought up the possibility (I never made the connection as the stigma was it's a young boy condition) of ADHD. I am on 2nd dose of Artige 10ml and already feel some very mild yet positive changes.
I am a little nervous but very hopeful. This has been a long time coming. Wish me luck. 😊

I SUCKED at school. Failed grade 3 & a high school drop out. I'd say my average grades were always anywhere from C- to an F-. EVERY. SINGLE. YEAR. Ugh. Still not diagnosed. And hard finding someone who will.
& Sadly unemployed most of my life.

Im sorry. I just got diagnosed, and im going to be 40 this year. My grades in high school were terrible, i was at my best a C student. I shouldnt have graduated, my high school let me go probably because I never gave anyone any problems. I hated school, and dropped out of college. Never went back. Ever since then, ive struggled with every job ive ever had. It could be making sandwiches and I still wouldnt be good enough. I hope you can get diagnosed and I hope things get better for you!

@@aaronbenton7hi. Why can't you get diagnosed? Can't you go see your local gp or see a psychologist take an ADHD assessment or something? Or is it different or difficult process on where you are?

@@bubblygirlduddett3 hey. I did finally get diagnosed last year.. just had to do some testing. My Dr. diagnosed me pretty quickly. At least I know now. 👍🏻

Thanks for the video! This is so relatable... I didn't do too bad at school but a good example: my mum had to teach me to read and write because I was falling behind, the teacher had no patience with me... My mum and I suspect she also suffers from it because we share some traits (forgetfulness, having many conversations going on at once, a bit clumsy, etc) but my mum is a perfectionist and very organised at home, I think to compensate in a way... I am not at all like that so I struggled a lot and there was always a lingering feeling of inadequacy, that I was not a very good student/child, that I could do better, that why the hell was I not capable of sitting to do my homework so I could do other things after, and I'm terrible at housework (still!). I was pretty good at art class, even if not excellent and when I was at uni I started knitting and having a creative outlet has helped me a lot, (even with all the unfinished projects, lol!). Now at work I have found some ways of keeping on top of my work as much as possible, time planners to organise my time, prioritise and multitask, etc and at home I keep on doing my crafts and I take walks...it helps with the extra energy

The problem is the system not your symptoms, whether this is related to education, healthcare, the economy, the political establishment, society, etc.... "It's not a sign of good health to be well adjusted to an unhealthy sick society'' - You are not the problem, you are a challenge to a system that works to numb you and blunt your creativity and shutdown your critical thinking skills in order to make you passive and easy to manage. Empowered people with ADHD as well as many other so-called disabilities are a danger to a system hellbent on control and compliance.

This really clicked with me, I haven’t been diagnosed but I suspect that I probably was never in the correct environment fitted to my learning style or something like that. Creativity, photography/videography has change the game for me and I didn’t know how badly I needed a creative outlet till I just started doing it at age 22

I lived in world of confusion until 31 years old. Only then I realized I had ADHD, even though I suspected this diagnosis many years before. Being a pilot, ADHD kinda helps along as you can monitor the 6 Blind Flying Panel instruments at the same time, while navigating, and talking to ATC. There is a theory that ADHD helped our hunter-gatherer ancestors to survive. ADHD made them better hunters, gaining higher status in a tribe (as they brought more meat than neurotypical people) and better at helping their tribemates to survive. Lazy, unmotivated is not about us. Our willpower is simply vectored in a wrong direction.
