I agree! I would expect they will find the negatives for those two but I hope they are in good condition. That could be another concern. Hopefully we hear something from Blue Underground soon. I keep hearing about The Keep. I was doubting it was going to be this year so hopefully it's coming next year.

I'm very excited for Looking for Mr. Goodbar. I was about 13-14 yo when a local Philadelphia tv station somehow aired the unedited cut of it, and I was not prepared for what I saw. It fascinated me. I'm happily surprised it's getting a 4k release. I pre ordered the VS limited edition as soon as the pre order went live.

Having learned from my DNA test results that I am apparently 1% Mexican, I have more "justification" than ever in not accepting the end of Halloween as the end of the "spooky season" and instead continuing it into November and thankfully, the WNUF 2 Blu-ray came in today rather than the original estimate of next Tuesday.
Oh! That is awesome about the Blu-ray coming in! I thought it might have been damaged with your previous comment but so happy it isn't. And spooky season never really ends for us. But hell yeah to being part Mexican. We both share that now. lol

Not sure if you know but Hammer Films in the UK just opened preorders yesterday for Captain Kronos Vampire Hunter collector's edition 4k/bluray. 5 disk region free set with awesome packaging and extra's. I managed to order fast enough to get the free 20% off next order code and limited edition lithograph poster. It is a little pricey especially to ship to the U.S. but I really love the movie!
I did not know that! Thank you for letting me know. I'll check it out. I had a bit of an expensive month so I'm trying to avoid temptation but that sounds tempting. lol
I'm curious too. I stopped speculating on their secret titles a long time ago. I don't think I have ever been right. lol I'll just wait until the end of the month to see. I ordered Congo and Cannibal The Musical since they aren't included with the subscription. I'm interested in seeing what Scream Factory announces next week for January. I wonder how they will start next year.
VS also listed some partner label stuff like Saloum on bluray with special slip. Shudder release. Kind of an action movie with horror elements. Highly rated and looks pretty good.

Blood Tracks is a Swedish film that has reachdd cult status much like Evil Ed (Arrow Video) and has the EEAL band Easy Action in it. Singer Tommy Nilsson then have had a long career making more pop and folk/blues music and more. The drummer Fredrik (I think) and guitarrist/song writer Peo came from a successful teenage ”Punk” band named Noise (very polished punk with typical teenage problems themed lyrics of its time). Not the best movie but fun in my op! I will subscribe to VS again as usual. Now VS is the label I jave the most titles from. Arrow is second. About 330 - 380 of each. Will count. Lol Hope Shout has some good ones on monday! Cheers!
I was so surprised by the announcement of Blood Tracks. It's the only movie I ordered from VS. I of course just broke down and bought the DVD a couple of months ago. Always happens to me but that's okay. I can tell you it's not a fantastic film but it's really fun. If you like cheesy slashers, you will probably like this
Wow! When I recorded it they were around 700. Those seriously sell fast. I know one from earlier in the year I was going to order but I decided to wait until that night and sure enough the slipcover version was gone by then.

I'm guessing if The Keep is coming it would be next year but I was hearing so much about it that it sounded like it might have been this month. I like this month's VS releases but there isn't that one big one to end the year off for them which does surprise me. I hope you have a great weekend too!
A recent episode of Mike White’s “the projection booth” features an interview with one of the dudes from AGFA, who mentions a restoration of the director’s cut of “the keep” as a dream project if possible. Maybe that was a thinly veiled hint of an upcoming release.
