    Normally I find these videos help, in a small way, to satisfy my craving to get out on my bike (during lockdown) and similarly with international rides where its not too easy currently. However this one has me itching to get back to the Alps!! So good for the soul to ride the mountains. Love it ... and the video 😁👍

      It’s a double edged sword, isn’t it! Either it’ll ease the itch, or it’ll drive you crazy! This is one time where being ‚stuck‘ on the continent was definitely the right place to be.

    I fookin' love Austria. Been there several times. I haven't been since 2017 but it's good to see the roads I've been down again and bring back the memories. Went through Kuhtai (home of the Celebrity maiming reality show 'The Jump') and then onto Obergurgl and Hochgurgl before the Timmelsjoch. Pity the Motor museum burnt down as that's a good stop off point. Great stuff Andy and looking forward to the rest of the series.

    • @AndyManCam
      @AndyManCam  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Isn't it great that these roads were so hard won from the mountains, that they never really change! Maybe a new surface and some new markings, but the roads remain the same forever! A stop at the museum would have been nice, but being 'forced' to continue through the twisties was also OK! ;D

    A wise man once said, "If you are lucky enough to live in the mountains, you are lucky enough." By the looks of it, same thing goes for riding through them!
    The last time I was through the mountains in Alberta and BC was in a rented minivan and the time before that in an SUV towing three tonnes of travel trailer. Er, caravan. The scenery no less stunning for the uninspiring transportation! Riding in the Rockies is not an easy option for me because I live a few thousand km away. Someday!
