I saw Rise Against live on the Hunting Party Tour in Nashville. Tim came out and sung the song acoustic just like this. Honestly, with his matured voice, I much prefer this over the original.
That was basically my dream tour and I'm sad that I never got to see them both together live, and I'm especially sad that it can never happen again after Chester's passing 5 years ago on 7/20. Cherish that memory forever, and thank you for the reply to such an old comment.

I found when I was half a step down the capo was on 4th! No different though keeping it in standard and capoing 3rd :)

I feel like Tim's voice and the way he sings has changed since the first Rise against album. Personally I like the original version of swing life.
