I'm at a pretty tough point right now with a lot of things and this song in particular is one that just really helps get through everything. I learned how to play it on the guitar and I just sit around and play it a few times a day and sing along. I've recorded a cover, but don't really have the confidence to post it online. Regardless of all of that, I'm just glad Rise Against made such a relate able song that can make you feel better, when things are down.
It's true that it's more difficult, but typically my old band used a metronome in my drummers ears that kept him from speeding up, and we all followed him.

This was the very first song i ever learned on guitar and I constantly play it every other day, because this song is perfect in every way. And it pisses me off at I turn on the tv and all i see is bullshit for music. and Tim here gets next to no recognition for being probably the best voice for our generation

lol dont bash guitar hero..there is greatness there as well. It got me into the guitar and I have been playing for three years and love it, i can play rise against songs on guitar hero and on the guitar, although it is more fulfilling on the latter. Great vid btw.

they are, but you do have to understand that its not exactly easy to keep the same rhythm in a live preformance as you do when recording the album
