I lived in Hillside 4 for 2 months in early 2022 (part of a trip around the world) and it was very convenient. I had an older studio, but it was very comfortable. I reserved it through Airbnb so it cost me about $450 a month, and the location was very good. I did my grocery shopping at Maya Mall (5 minute walk) and walked daily to old town (20 minute walk). I never found the pool and also didn't see any food being cooked in the noodle spots in the lobby, but the small convenience store and gym were very handy. Very comfortable place to start out in Chiang Mai.
Hi there! Thank you for your comment. Yes, utilities such as internet, water and electricity are always separate. Water is very cheap in Thailand, usually under 200 baht a month. Electricity greatly depends on your air con use, but for 1 personally it's usually about 1,000-2,000 Baht per month. WIFI is about 600 baht per month! Feel free to email us at info@settleinabroad.com with any additional questions.

Hi there, thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately, this condo doesn't allow pets, but there are a few condos in Chiang Mai that do. Feel free to send us an email at info@settleinabroad.com for more information.
Judging from this video and others, Chiangmai Mai is nowhere near the luxury standards of Pattaya or Bangkok. Both those cities have way nicer condos, nicer pools, jacuzzi, sauna, weight rooms, views, etc for about the same price. Everyone claims Chiangmai Mai is cheaper but i don’t see the value there at all.
I lived in Chiang Mai for a year. I now live in Pattaya. CM is FAR cheaper and nicer. Pattaya is full of day drinking bogans of all nationalities, especially Russians.
@@TheBuddyShowWorldwide I agree about the lower quality of people but i was referring to the condos. I’ve stayed at 7 of the nicest condos in Pattaya so far and i have yet to find any youtube videos showing anything even close to that level of quality and luxury in Chang Mai. So my point is that yes Chang Mai is cheaper for condos but thats because you aren’t getting a 5 or 6 star condo. Or can you point me to a luxury condo in Chang Mai to prove me wrong?

I've stayed quite a few times in this building. Location is great. It wasn't built in 2005. More like 1985.

@SuperheroArmorychannel you are comparing the cheaper older condo... Plenty of new up scale condos in Chiangmai. Your bias is showing 😂
No Simon. Thank god.
