Every time I listen to him I get the chills from head to toe. I can’t get enough of him and this song.

Cant get enough of him and this song. I just discovered him 5 years later. Love love love him. I listen to this over and over every day and night.
That moment of complete silence at the end was just mindbendingly special. Priceless. I’ve only seen it once before. It’s a combination of hoping the song isn’t over and absorbing every moment of what you just heard. Only it’s not an individual reaction, it’s every single person in the room experiencing the same reaction. Awesome.

I like a quiet reaction that doesn't talk over the performance ... then reviews it all after it is over. No stopping the video, no shouting and extreme physical reacting no drinking tea with the string and tag flapping around or worse, sucking on a straw like you're at the circus. One of the most moving renditions of any song ever. He poured out all of the pain that one person could possibly contain within, leaving behind a cleansing of body and soul. Very much like your reaction. Thank you for sharing your vulnerability. For me, it's very emotional.

GREAT REACTION. We all go through life feeling inadequate or at times, not good enough. In addition, we spend much of our lives, wanting to be ACCEPTED. Creep draws out an emotional response to us.

That was the year that Grace VanderWaal stole so many hearts and won. Brian finished 4th behind 2 magic acts and Grace. If Brian had held off on this performance until the final, he might have won the whole thing.
I agree, I think his rendition of "Man in the Mirror" was his downfall.
"Creep" is a great song. There have been a number of memorable performances -- beginning with Radiohead's original. In 2015 Scott Bradlee (founder of Postmodern Jukebox) reimagined the song in the style of a 1950ish jazz lounge singer. He assembled an acoustic combo, recruited singer Haley Reinhart, and recorded the most unusual (in a very good way) cover of "Creep." A year later Brian did this performance on AGT. A few months after that, Emily Middlemas did a remarkable version on The X Factor. The versions by Brian and Emily were very emotional...much like the original.
You might want to add in Mimi and Josefin.

BJC Has an amazing voice! This ranks as one of my top 5 biggest AGT vocals of all time. The telling part of greatness is when he is done...dead silence...that's a gift. And no he didn't win AGT, he show he did win a fan here. Lovely reaction!

Great reaction. Actually he did not win he came in 4th place and he went back on AGT champions in 2019 and find win there either he should have. He just released a cover of Kesha song praying it is amazing
If you find yourself really liking ones from AGT, some great ones were also Chase Goehring, Darci Lynn and Courtney Hadwin. All of them were amazing, all of Chase's were great originals with pretty powerful lyrics behind them.
As you can see, comments from your fans are telling you the version to compare it too is the one by PMJ feat. Haley Reinhart. Of the hundreds of videos PMJ has made, that version is the most viewed. Additionally Haley has about four of the top ten viewed videos on their channel. Even more than her version of Creep, I love their covers of 7Nation Army and Black Hole Sun. There is a LOT of great music Scott Bradlee's PostModern Jukebox has produced introducing at least a good half dozen fabulous singers and musicians into my life, more than any other group could hope to do. It really is worth the visit.
You should check out his cover of Shallow (by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper). Best cover ever.
He lost first to a young girl ventriloquist and then in Champions to a magician. I think BJC should have chosen American Idol or The Voice where he was judged against other singers. Still, 4th glacé 2x is outstanding and certainly helped his career grow a bit more. I love his 2 solo performances and his group performance on Champions. Your Song & Never Enough. ☮️💟
