US Will Help Philippines To Procure 28 F-16 Units With Multi Year Financing

with some sources saying the PAF was actually looking at 28 units. The sale will be administered by the US Department of Defense and multi-year financing was also offered which would allow the DND and DBM to just release a small amount that it won't break the bank.
Additional costs will go for the acquisition of munitions, which in the Philippines' case would involve AIM-9X Sidewinders and AIM-120C7 AMRAAM similar to the offer made on new F-16 Block 70 Vipers, and most probably also for AGM-65G2 Maverick air-to-ground missiles and AGM-84 Harpoon anti-ship missiles.
