    Great video! "DON'T LICK THE BOWL!" Haha! That made me laugh. I love love those cupcake molds. More surface to grab onto to pull the mold away from the soap. Great color combo. I also liked the pearl trick. Thanks for sharing! Happy Holidays!

    Thanks for the recipe and the tip of doing two batches. They look great but your frosting looked like it wasn't set up enough but maybe it only looked that way on film.

    You stated previously that your lye discount is 35%? I’m confused, because on SoapCalc, 35% doesn’t come out to 120g of water?

    omg I love this thank you. question, replacing olive oil for cocoa butter, good or bad idea?

  • @racheltindall680
    @racheltindall680 9 ปีที่แล้ว

    Do you ever get soda ash on these cupcakes? Do you let them just sit out? Seems like they would be hard to cover unless you set them in a box with a towel over them or something. I am going to attempt to make them today! I have never made soap cupcakes or frosting so I am excited. This recipe is perfect and what I have been looking for. I appreciate you sharing this! Your stuff is awesome!

    • @MyNaturesArt
      @MyNaturesArt  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not with this recipe, I find the higher level of olive oil helps keep it at bay

  • @rosaliawilliams8410

    hi do you have to let the cupcakes cure like regular soap? if so for how long?

    • @MyNaturesArt

    how much fragrance did you use for one pound.. sorry i am new and just learning

    • @MyNaturesArt
      @MyNaturesArt  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +joann jno-pierre it depends on the fragrance you use, when buying it, the Web page will say what percentage. Most common amounts are around 1/2 oz up to 1 oz per pound of soap, but some with cinnamon and certain spices are only 1%, so it's important to check supplier

    • @jjnopierre
      @jjnopierre 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Another question is the pound of soap measured when soap is dried or when formulating the oils

    • @MyNaturesArt
      @MyNaturesArt  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +joann jno-pierre when formulating; )
