    EXPLICACIÓN EN ESPAÑOL DEL BETUM /FROSTING
    Este es el truco para hacer jabón batido
    -La relación de aceites duros es mucho mayor que los aceites líquidos en una receta de jabón batido.
    -He derretido y enfriado los aceites hasta que son semisólidos (temperatura ambiente)
    -Ahora, voy a batir los aceites con una batidora para incorporar un poco de aire
    - Recordé que el volumen de jabón será mucho mayor de lo habitual
    -Voy a tener que cambiar a un contenedor más grande
    -mucho mejor ... espacio para aumentar volumen.
    -Recuerde, este son sólo aceites, todavía la solución de lejía se ha añadido.
    -Antes de añadir la solución de lejia, esta listo en consistencia como un merengue suave.
    - Creo que ahora será un buen momento para incorporar mi solución de lejía.
    -Recuerda, la lejia se encuentra fresca... añadida con mucho cuidado para evitar salpicaduras.
    -La batidora se encuentra en velocidad baja, para incorporar de a poco y plenamente la solución de lejía.
    -Quiero mezclar a mano aquí ... para asegurarme de haber incorporado completamente cualquier solución de lejía desde el fondo del tazón.
    -Es tiempo para la adición de fragancia.
    - Otra vez, revuelva cuidadosamente para evitar salpicaduras.
    - Creo que está listo para un poco de color ahora.
    -El color del jabón se desvanece a medida que se cura. ¿?
    - Estoy removiendo mucho para asegurarme de que mi mica esté bien incorporada.
    - Lo estoy revisando aquí para ver si tendrá un pico y será adecuado para el "copo de helado".
    -Es un pico suave, pero creo que funcionará.
    -Es tiempo para preparar mi bolsa.
    -para que el jabón no salga hasta que esté listo para hacerlo.
    Seguir mirando, no precisa traducción.. se entiende bien lo que hace...

    @barbaraayala7808 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    I've tried this where the butter is left in the frig. with the lye over night to where it is cold and the temp is the same. As I was piping everything start to liquefy before my eye's in seconds and realized if you are in a hot climate (it was like a 108 that day) it is very hard to do a frosting like this. I did it like 3 times and would not even harden I had to pipe in the refrigerator. :-( with the door open. Then left it in the Refrigerator for at least 3 hours before removing it. I really didn't think it would come out. Frosting wasn't perfect put got it to finally hold.

  • @MsBowmaker
    @MsBowmaker 9 ปีที่แล้ว

    Lovely cupcakes, your video is very detailed and your pipping technique is amazing! I have a question though. Do you frost them while the base is still soft or you wait for a certain amount of time to do that?

    • @oilbuttersoap4560
      @oilbuttersoap4560  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +MsBowmaker I frosted them right away, because I think the soap tends to stick better when it's fresh. Sometimes I have waited a week before frosting them, but I make sure to 'rough up' the surface of the base lightly with a fork to give the whipped topping something to adhere better to, I hope that makes sense?

  • @thesoapybandit4679

    You're cupcakes are gorgeous! I'm just curious, does the whipped topping not melt if for whatever reason the room temp goes up? I know when I make my whipped body cream with hard oils it tends to melt if if gets too warm.

    • @oilbuttersoap4560
      @oilbuttersoap4560  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +The Soapy Bandit No, the whipped topping cures out to be a solid soap, so no melting! :)

  • @BoojiePanda
    @BoojiePanda 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    I can't learn unless I ask, so here goes: is there a reason you use ziplock bags instead of frosting bags? IE; does the thicker plastic of the ziplock bags hold up better due to the soap?

    • @CloudPow
      @CloudPow 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sherry Bora I can't speak for her, but I use ziploc/zipper bags simply because they're not as expensive as piping bags (but they can be used the exact same way).
      It really comes down to personal preference.

    • @BoojiePanda
      @BoojiePanda 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I found 15" piping bags (SveBake, phenomenally outstanding reviews) in a pack of 100 bags for $12.50 on Amazon (roughly 13 cents a bag). The equivalent in size for Ziploc are the 2 gallon freezer bags.... box of 100 for $31.34 (roughly 31 cents a bag). Reading the reviews on the SveBake bags, they appear to be fairly heavy duty with these textured bumps on the outside of the bag for easier grip. These just seem like a better buy to me for anyone on a budget.

    Beautiful Soap Cupcakes! I really enjoyed your videos. What do you think about adding beeswax to a whipped soap recipe? I'm wondering if it would be easy to work with. I might try a small batch but wanted to see if any one has done it before.

    Adorable! I always wondered how to make whipped soap, does it become hard after its cured? I've bought whipped soap in a jar homemade but it ended up being crunchy? I've been searching for a more moose type soap, is that even possible? I'm new to soaps but I've made candles forever.

    I have a quick question.. Does it end up being cheaper to make your own soaps? The reason I ask is because my husband has really bad psoriasis & I have been researching natural things that will help cure it. I thought, why Not make it into a soap he could end up using every day.

    • @oilbuttersoap4560
      @oilbuttersoap4560  8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +Cheryl Masaveg It really depends on the ingredients that you use and how much the soap you would usually buy costs. If you normally buy soaps from Lush or The Body Shop, for example, you can make them for less money at home. If you're comparing it to the cost of dollar store soap, probably not. But definitely by making your own soap, you can research and control each ingredient that goes into it, which is a huge benefit for someone with skin issues or someone who appreciates the luxury of handmade soap :)

    • @nikitab4098
      @nikitab4098 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have this condition, and for this very reason is why I make my own soap. The chemicals in store bought ( and even some " natural handmade soaps on the Internet ) have toxic additives.
      When you make your own, you know what's NOT in it. Not cheaper initially , but for the relief, no doctor visits, gas going to the doctor, prescription drugs that kill, it's worth it :D

    • @nikitab4098
      @nikitab4098 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh! And stay clear of the mentioned brands. I looked up the ingredients of one of them, (the one that doesn't have labels on their soaps and cut them freehand and weigh them for purchase) full of SLS! ( sodium laurel sulphate ) a foaming agent that brings on the itchy red miserable patches!

    But if you put glitter on the cupcakes, it means that your customers will get glitter all over their hands when they actually use the soap?

    • @oilbuttersoap4560
      @oilbuttersoap4560  9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +Lilly Blick It's actually a very small amount and washes away very quickly :)

    • @chloetan229
      @chloetan229 9 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      +Lilly Therese If you don't like glitter, then don't buy soaps like this or have them custom made for yourself if you have an allergy to glitter. Most other people like glitter and glitter from soaps and shower gels usually get washed away unlike glitter in body lotions. Is this the first time you are looking at handmade Artisan soaps? People who buy from Lush will know they get glitter all over themselves when browsing & handling lush soaps! No need to actually use the soap! lol!
