This is kinda unrelated, but I'm reminded of the time I went to an outdoor flea market and someone was selling candles shaped like ice cream sundaes, and they looked so convincing my first thought was, "Shouldn't those be melting?"
Katie, Just wanted to thank you for sharing your soap recipe. I'm sure it is a great help to beginners so they can start with a working blend until they develop a personal recipe. But I've been soaping for a year and it really helped me rethink my recipe. I ran the recipe through a calculator and looked at the bar qualities. It opened my eyes to look at new combinations of my favorite oils. If you read my ingredients and yours they are very different but I did borrow some of your quality levels. Just wanted to say thank you for the new creative direction.

I'm a novice soaper, but when I had my first daughter a year ago, soapmaking came to a screeching halt for me. I've been a fan of Royalty Soaps for years, and after making my first purchase from the Etsy shop last week - as well as being unexpectedly given some handmade soap from a family member last week - I finally set aside some time to soap again. Have you ever considered maybe putting the silicone molds in an actual cupcake holder. It will help create a realer shape and also make moving them easier..
