Thanks for showing the flaws too. Makes me feel better! I'm not the only one! Great video
man prefect timing. I just started looking into doing this to my factory YJ seats
Great, glad I could help👊🏻
Great idea. If I wasn’t get aftermarket seats for my rig I’d definitely do this👍
Yea, wish I could afford real seats but the factory TJ seats are actually pretty comfy. Eventually I will spend the $
You can use a zip tie for a temporary pull handle on the zipper
Great video. I know, it is after the fact, but for anyone else, you could use a cautery tool or possibly even a soldering iron to cut the seat skin. It would make a much cleaner and accurate hole and would help to prevent fraying in the weave.
Those seats look GOOD!
Thanks, could always be better but its a wheeler, lol.
@@MuddyBeards4X4 You have one of the coolest TJ's I have seen.
Yep - even cooler than mine. lol
🤟🏻
Looks good. Not too bad of an install
THANK YOU FOR THE CONTENT I LOVE THE BUILD !!!!!!!!
Thanks👊🏻
Nice looking seat for what 25 buck outstanding job thanks for sharing
Yep, $25 and an afternoon, as long as you have a welder and a grinder...
Good way to save money on suspension seats
Cut the left over cloth into a felt like micro pieces and glue it over the holes.
Only thing I would do different is instead of cutting the top off, I'd keep it all one piece leaving the middle. Then adding to it to make it stronger.
Great idea, I assume you could add a seat cover for an aftermarket look? I've been told that suade keeps you from sliding around in your seat?
Sure, you could do that, good idea👍🏻
Is there a video coming of your coilover install?
Unfortunately not exactly. With the time frame, I was trying to finish for EJS. I didn’t have time to film most of it. I will be working on a breakdown video of what I did and how I did it. 👍🏻
Nice 4WP jacket. 👍🏼
Lol, great shop jacket👊🏻
@@MuddyBeards4X4 old school patches.
Yep, it’s been a while, lol.
Nice! I just had re-apolstered my original seats or I would totally do this. I think you should have taken the opportunity to clean some of the dirt off of the floor of the Jeep before you put the seat back in. You could grow potatoes in there bro! 😜
Well... I did vacuum, that’s something right, lol.
Cool
I wanna see the end product 👍👍😬
Why not use on a daily driver??🤔
You could for sure, but I don’t want to be held responsible for someone doing this and getting in an accident and it breaks or something, legal stuff.
Why not do this on a street vehicle???
