I love the part where an accomplished and practicing scientist calls B.S to the accomplished SiFi comic book reader. You really get a sense for how little understanding and appreciation there is for actual science.
I had the same issue with the 12 volt battery several weeks ago. It was an absolutely awful situation. You can't even open the door without that battery. It was a 90 minute nightmare.
@@realchris First, you have to know what to do. I had to Google this especially after an expensive car failed to tell me that my battery was running low. Second, you have to know that there are 2 wires in the bumper that you have to access, and use a 9volt battery to power the frunk open. Third, you then have to access the 12V battery to charge it like any other car battery so you can have access to your car. Sounds easy, but a complete nightmare. The car should have warned me weeks earlier of what was going on. At least now I will just replace the batter every 60,000 miles to be safe.
@@realchris Although it's an $89 battery that only Tesla sells, it was a massive headache. This wasn't thought out very well. At least have one door that is opened mechanically. But instead, all of the doors open electrically and they are powered by the 12 volt battery. WTF!!
Keep in mind you are investing in companies, not people. Cult of personality stocks are inherently risky investments. We are mortal and no one is perfect. Markets are difficult to time. Your best bet is to consistently invest diversely with every paycheck through good and bad markets.
Hi Chris N. Please include your education and qualifications for talking about investments. I will search for that information. I like to know who I am listening to. Also what is your investment history. Thanks very much.
Kpop money is crazy even more than most other music industries I know if a festival books a kpop group they cut budget in other areas to afford the kpop stars
On the main TH-cam page YT showed me a prompt asking me to rate a SMR video - which I did and valued it deservingly with one star for each query. He isn't pumping his Discord lately either. Comment section had even more fake posts. Yt is on to him? Perhaps they asked me since I worked for Google and still use the same account I got from them. Signed an NDA but I will tell you they were far ahead of their time years before most understood basic SEO - these days though search is bad. Search info on a RTX 2080, get relevant info indeed just its for the 2060 model. This is just one example of many you all may have too.
The supercomputer market experiences rapid hardware upgrades every 2-5 years, driving a constant demand for new processors. With thousands of companies seeking hardware, the demand for processors is in the hundreds of thousands, potentially even millions. This creates a compounding effect, as existing customers require upgrades while new customers emerge. This cycle is unlikely to slow down in the near future, with demand persisting for the foreseeable future. Notably, these companies can generate significant returns on investment, earning $5-7 for every $1 spent on Nvidia hardware. This presents a compelling investment opportunity, with guaranteed returns of 500-700% over a 5-year period. As long as companies continue to reap benefits from their investments, they will likely continue to pay premium prices for the necessary hardware.
I'm heavily shorting nvidia, I know it is a dangerous move, but for me it is a calculated risk. Either my thesis is correct or I will go down with the ship and that is ok.
That’s funny because there isn’t any other solution to inflation other than AI/AGI. That’s my thesis and that’s why I’ve been in AI stocks for awhile. On a global view, the world is looking for deflation through real means, AI is just the ultimate form of deflation, to the point where it could be existential. By shorting is just a dumb…really dumb strategy for 99% of people, including you and I. So you’re being emotional dumb is just going to be costly, you should never invest with your heart.
@@henrytep8884 it is not emotional decision, I know what AI is capable of, but also its limitations, and I know we're nowhere near AGI, and I know that "most" of companies who are trying to use AI have a solution looking for a problem. I have been software developer for 15 years & I have my own startup & I know what I'm talking about. LLMs are amazing, and I use Github copilot everyday, but they are not a sliver bullet as the public perceive them to be. They can make you more productive if you no what you're doing, but they are disaster if you entirely rely on them. Basically you have to know the correct answer before asking ChatGPT anything. It will help you write, faster, formulate your ideas better, but it can't do anything on its own especially on the scale people think it can do.
I wonder what NVIDIA will become in this AI race? As for food, wow. $10 for a meal for two! It's actually "real" food too, unlike McDonald's. Eating out in Korea seems to be better than in the US.
Food is quite good here. You can see some more here. Even if we get more Western style food it's still higher quality and better price than the US also like this th-cam.com/video/UDVe0Lk_dtg/w-d-xo.html But generally the small local places like in the photo from today is more healthy on a regular basis.
The answer to this question all comes down to whether the companies buying the GPUs can do anything with them to make money. We need to see real AI-based products that actually do something valuable for people beyond their novelty value. So far, I see a lot of novelty and badly flawed AI use cases. If that doesn't change, this is going to collapse like a house of cards.

Farzad cares more about pumping tesla than saving his baby, Elon must be proud
I’ve voted! Don’t think I’m going to get picked, I voted NO on everything 🤣
In my opinion people going out of other stocks and go in Nvidia since last week. That is why everything is red an Nvidia the big winner
I love your channel and honesty, keep up the good work Chris
Appreciate you joining us daily and keeping me honest, hehe :)
The S&P 500 is the most concentrated in american history. maybe it's a good time to invest in small caps or the equal weighted index
