Hey Chris, I have a thought: why not limit inheritable wealth per case to 1 billion and the rest returns to where the wealth came from: society? 1 billion should be a good start and it is more fair to everybody who wants to try to be the richest living person. Usin Bolt can't give his world records to his children, Dr. Biden can not give her Dr. title to her children in order to make them world record runners or Dr. Why should we treat wealth differently? I honestly would like to hear your thoughts about that… what that would mean to economy, society and the fair game of wealth and inheritage. Cheers, Anthony
Musk pays negative tax because most of hes funds comes directly (SpaceX) or indirectly (Tesla CO2 securities, no VAT on car sales in some nations etc) from governments. Yes, plural. He is the biggest "gov hand outs" given person on the planet.
People forget that in the late 1990s, the guru of CEO standards was Jack Welsh - there was continual seminars for young executives extolling his rules for running companies which included firing 10% of your staff each year, maximizing shareholders dividends, buying back shares with profits (instead of investing in R&D) buying and moving into lucrative businesses that produce nothing, but make huge amounts of money - like life insurance, health insurance, credit cards. He was lauded as a business genius but manipulated his quarterly business reports showing false profits. He was the CEO of GE and was paid an eye watering severance payment of $417 million in 2001 and was ultimately the reason that GE - one of the biggest companies in the world went broke. One of his acolites took over Boeing and it appears that he's accomplished the same outcome for that business.

I remember in economics learning about economies of scale, where larger businesses were able to offer lower prices due to their high volumes. It totally ignored corporate greed, where businesses without much competition will charge more, even though their costs are less. They did admit that competition was good, but seemed biased toward large corporations. They didn't seem to take into consideration the fact that all those large corporations might agree to fix prices at higher levels
@@dorothyjohnson6743 Depends who gets to define *Misuse". Musk and the other billionaires would call feeding the hungry and caring for the sick misuse, while applauding tax money being used for stock buy backs and private jets.
There is no Middle Class any longer. There are people who are educated and consider themselves Middle Class, however, they are still poor. Sad world, when you only see the material world and nothing else.
My company followed the same plan until they blew up an oil refinery in Texas and killed 13 people. That’s when the board realized that maybe they should keep people who knew what they were doing instead of trying to fire anybody who had a salary overa certain amount.
Here's my perspective for what it's worth: I grew up in a conventional middle class neighborhood but lived for awhile with a very wealthy family in South America. At first, living in a mansion was very exciting, but over time I realized that I hated walking so far just to retrieve my lighter or book, etc. Night time was the worst though with how creepy and quiet a big place can be. And with over 200 employees and 8 businesses, there was always some sort of problem and some human resource issue almost every day. Simply put: a modest lifestyle and a cozy, efficient home is way better in my opinion.
You’re right about investment in the good and right companies but sadly corporations seem to always put profit ahead of employees benefits when it’s the employees doing all the work !!!
They don't everywhere. I'm into junior gold miners. You may think this means I'm for pollution and underpaying labor. But the mining industry has wizened up. Companies that have hostile relations with labor, communities and countries, or don't rehabilitate spent mine sites, lose their assets. The licenses are just pulled in the developing nations where there are still major prospects. Those that ensure their workers, their communities, and their host nations benefit can mine larger higher grade deposits without civil conflict or host nation expropriation.
People say taxes are bad, except they expect the programs that benefit them to continue. They just want the programs that benefit others to be eliminated.
Money doesn't buy happiness but it does allow you to choose your own misery. And people that fawn over billionaires forget that 99.999% of them live closer to the homeless than their billionaire gods.
You notice how the only sci-fi movie Musk never references is Elysium? Guess it’s because in that movie the rich CEO is a coward and a total douche. Guess it was too close to the bone
Money is security. Period. Billionaires, centimillionaires, they are hoarding security, and at the expense of hundreds of millions of people. Furthermore, there is simply no way to accumulate such security without underpaying workers, skimping on safety, using the government to eliminate competition for you while removing obstacles for yourself. Like the SEC and NLRB.
Absolutely true. Some may start out ok but have you noticed they all end up crazy, greedy, and evil and can’t be happy unless regular people are miserable?
Do yourself a very big favor, find better sources of information. Buffett is one of the largest philanthropists of our time. For example, in the last 5 years he has given about $22.5 billion to various charitable organizations. Buffett is one example, but there's many. It's important to appreciate those who are doing good, while acknowledging there's others, like Musk, doing almost nothing for the greater good.

I agree with you, for example letting billionaires design a city means Los Angeles winds up looking like the first Bladerunner movie, giant videos displayed on the side of skyscrapers at night!😂jk but Bladerunner was set in 2019, hey Musk, where’s the flying cars and bio engineered workers?🤔😏😂
I’m always shocked at how a massive group of people that outnumber these devious overlords don’t strike back. Imagine if that person you spoke of who got hit by a car was met with the energy of the French Revolution. They might learn disrespect can go both ways!
It's not that billionaire has a giant lake and the poor a cup of water. It's that the billionaire's lake is systematically taking more and more of the finite amount of water. Because of interests and assets, their wealth grows. The more wealth one has, the less left in the pot for others. It's not just that the rich don't help the poor. They literally pry what drops of Pennie's they can from them in the process.
Walmart used to only work their weekly employees to work less than 40hrs per week so they didnt pay certain benefits! The worker is always at the mercy of the employer !sad they have to do that!
Full time would get Bennies, part time no, they would make sure you wouldn’t qualify for full time, then the had to try and get government assistance to pay for healthcare that ROBBER BARON Walmart should have been paying for. We are subsidizing a multi billion dollar Corporation

As someone who has modified cars and motorcycles, the first time I looked at a tesla. It was amazingly poorly built. The body gaps and fitment of parts were awful. I recall how ol elon thought robots were the answer. Also, how long in the tooth are tesla designs? No other manufacturer could get away with stagnant designs as tesla has.
In the north where I live there is a 140-mile forest park from where more than fifty electric cars had to wait several hours in line to gain access to the terminals located halfway. Here at -15 Celsius the batteries lose at least a third of their capacity. These cars are not yet suitable for our country, no offense to President Musk.

In 1986 I started working for a small company in South Africa. I was the only white employee, also the only female. The owner had escaped from East Germany in 1946. His family could take nothing with them. Every year he would check out the wage negotiations between unions and businesses, guess where they would agree then add 1% to the total.
Benefiting at the expense of someone else doesn't seem to be the way forward maybe there's a better way where everybody benefits and no one is exploited?
I recently had a conversation with an anti-tax individual who stated he got nothing in return for his taxes paid. I asked him "how did you get to work this morning?. He answered "I drove here". me: "so on a road then huh"? him: yeah , what's the point"? me: " Yep on a road built with taxes in a car made safer by Government regulations. Also your kids go to public schools made possible by taxes, your Medicare funded by taxes , protected by a Military run on taxes, Police , fire and public services likewise funded by taxes. So what exactly are you not getting for your taxes "??? And I didn't even mention prisons , Border Patrol , Park services, National Guard ,Air Traffic Control, the Postal Service, Interstate Highways, Medical research, FEMA, the Coast Guard, and so much more. I then told him to imagine how it would be if all those streets and roads he drove in on were all...Toll Roads.

I remember Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. Donald Trump showed up often. And it was always clear to me that poor people can be convinced to support rules that favor the rich, time and again, because the poor people believe they will win the lottery one day, and become one of the glittering minority. The lottery (in its various forms) is part of a greater psyop.

No the problem is; people who work in government shouldn’t be a business person. Business owners are not people oriented. They are self center, and they cannot be caught up in people.

I guess I’m an odd duck. Never watched Dynasty or Dallas, and very little of Rich & Famous (which I thought was a ridiculous waste of money). I graduated high school in 1967. I remember being impressed by the speed with which China built entire cities. I even poked fun at the Jacksonville, FL I-10 - I-95 interchange, which is now a multi-generational project that has gone on for close to 30 years, as a contrast with what the Chinese were doing. Okay, I still poke fun at that. But then, I found out about fake hydrants, fake drains, sink holes, tofu concrete, sh!t geysers, and the entire (extremely bubbly) reason for all this construction. Tesla will go the same way: blowing past all the guard rails, be they worker safety standards or product safety standards, covering up faults and crash data... those guard rails are between the company and a cliff. The cliff's coming, and I'll do the giggle-bounce-clap once Tesla joins AMC in the dustbin of automotive history. And to be fair, I actually kind of liked some of AMC's weird, frumpy cars. But I'll do the dance when the last Cyberdreck goes into the crusher.
We know the corrupt-wealthy tend to all want to be the big fish. Most of us know the big fish eat the smaller fish starting with the poorest/weakest. For example, making homelessness illegal after raising rents for profit, creating homelessness. But hey, that newly available space is able to be rented by someone that will increase the profits, until it isn't enough, then simply rinse and repeat. The question becomes where do the homeless go if there is not a place for them to go? If they are fined and have no money, how would they pay? If they are jailed, then will tax payers be paying the privatized prisons? Aren't they owned by the billionaires? So wouldn't that mean the renting billionaires are helping the jailing billionaires be paid by using the taxpayers money, thus taking even more from the people that pay the most taxes and have the least money? All the while simultaneously taking away SS so when the workers are no longer working they won't last long and die off faster in their useless years or... work longer before they can stop working or die working. Yep, seems like we may go from 2025 right on through to 1984. No .. wait, we do produce a lot of soy... maybe Soylent Green (age showing here).

After working for some people that had real money, I never had any interest in building more wealth than I needed to live. Seeing how they treated people and seeing first hand how those with the least, give the most. There is a big difference between earning and making money and if you're confused, just see if you have a sore back at the end of the day, that will tell you.

15:30 that says labour COST. Labour cost is what the customer pays to the repair shop, not what the repair shop pays to the mechanic wh0 did all of the work. Ex: Customer pays shop $150/hr. Mechanic earns 16-40/ flat rate hour. Flat rate means if it took you 1 hour or 5 hours to do the repair, but the job only pays 1 hour, you worked all morning for table scraps. Tbh t3chnicians need to uni0nize. Like yesterday.
Amazon would have been broken up if we had antitrust laws like we did in the 30s. That's one way to help prevent billionaires from taking over. That doesn't mean that corporations can't do well, and gainfully employ workers. United Airlines was broken up in the 30s. It is the most unionized Airlines and the most successful. American airlines is the next most unionized and the next most successful. If you keep your workers happy you will be successful
Thank you Chris. Nicely done. I'm a 58 year female, and remember and even watch Dallas and Dynasty. Who shot JR.?? Stayed on shelf in grocery store checkouts for a couple years

Exposing corporate greed, abuse, and morally bankrupt behavior is not an option, it is fact...
paracites of human nature!
Without taxes, you’ll be driving your teslas on a pothole riddled roads that will destroy that car in short order.
For me, it's not the taxes, they are necessary, it is the misuse of taxes that's one of the problems.
@@dorothyjohnson6743 Depends who gets to define *Misuse". Musk and the other billionaires would call feeding the hungry and caring for the sick misuse, while applauding tax money being used for stock buy backs and private jets.
Isn’t there a disclaimer in the CyberTruck’s start up menu that if you take the thing through more than a puddle it voids the warranty?
it is now AMERICAN’S VS THE CEO’S
It's always been like that, just more people are waking up to it
The rich divide us so they can pick our pockets.
@@Rorali3Not enough.
There are far more people than billionaires. Thankfully we still have the 2nd amendment (for now), to defend ourselves from them.
@@Rorali3
Well, waking back up. We actually broke up companies at one point.
Excellent point! It's 100 % a Top / Bottom debate not a right / left.
I think this is the key to turning this nightmare around
Merry Christmas to you and your wife and thank you for your work here!
I don’t care how much people make but pay your fair share. Simple. Love your videos.
Absolutely 💯
Here's my perspective for what it's worth: I grew up in a conventional middle class neighborhood but lived for awhile with a very wealthy family in South America. At first, living in a mansion was very exciting, but over time I realized that I hated walking so far just to retrieve my lighter or book, etc. Night time was the worst though with how creepy and quiet a big place can be. And with over 200 employees and 8 businesses, there was always some sort of problem and some human resource issue almost every day.
Simply put: a modest lifestyle and a cozy, efficient home is way better in my opinion.
❤
Bernie Sanders was telling us back 2016 about billionaires
We share a philosophy that business shouldn't be independent of morality.
That’s what’s odd about this billionaire hero worship; when has Musk even been kind to laid-off Tesla employees recently?🤔🙄😒
"Love of money is the root of all evil"
Depends on if you do good things like rescuing animals with your money
Jeffery Dahmer, did not love money, he loved eating people.. the love of eating people is the root of at least some evil.
You notice how the only sci-fi movie Musk never references is Elysium? Guess it’s because in that movie the rich CEO is a coward and a total douche. Guess it was too close to the bone
Merry Christmas to you and your lovely wife. I hope your holidays are bright! Best wishes for a Happy New Year!
That gave me a perspective. Thanks.
Why can't Warren Buffet give society the money now? People are starving NOW.
There are NO good billionaires.
Absolutely true. Some may start out ok but have you noticed they all end up crazy, greedy, and evil and can’t be happy unless regular people are miserable?
Bill Gates has been giving away billions of dollars.
@ I stand by what I said, and I need to do no research. I lived in Omaha for three years, looked him up and read all about him back then been at Costco shoppers forever.
Do not give a rats ass about any of that either. There are no good billionaires none including warren Buffett.
@@ilikestuff7598if giving away $22 billion garners no respect or gratitude from people like you, maybe people like you deserve your lot in life
They milked Britain the same way. People continue to vote for over and over.
….and the braindead went, “Ooh look at the pretty lights!!!” 😅🤦♂️🤷🏼♂️
Well, at least they found a use for some of those Cybertrucks that they can't sell.
Merry Christmas, friend 😊 Happy to see your channel taking off and succeeding!!
You’re doing amazing work spreading good info and debunking the propaganda that plagues the narrative. Keep up the good work and I’ll see you in 2025. 🤞 fingers crossed it’s better than I fear it will be
Merry Christmas, Chris! 🎄 I enjoyed your book, Positive Angle. It has the power to transform thinking and broaden perspective, making it a valuable read for this holiday season.
So happy to hear you like it David!!! :) And Merry Christmas!!! Please leave a review on Amazon too when you can, it really helps a lot.
I value character first because 100% of the times character wins my respect whether or not they have money or not!
Well said. There is a world I'd like to live in, and it's not designed by billionaires.
Do Teslas come equipped with fire extinguishers?
I’m always shocked at how a massive group of people that outnumber these devious overlords don’t strike back. Imagine if that person you spoke of who got hit by a car was met with the energy of the French Revolution. They might learn disrespect can go both ways!
People like Luigi Magione are just the beginning. The French Revolution took a long time to explode.
They are literally buying the water from poor islands and stockpiling it for profit. The Bush family has been doing this for years.
Merry Christmas to you and your wife Chris from Melbourne 🇦🇺🦘🎄
Walmart used to only work their weekly employees to work less than 40hrs per week so they didnt pay certain benefits! The worker is always at the mercy of the employer !sad they have to do that!
Full time would get Bennies, part time no, they would make sure you wouldn’t qualify for full time, then the had to try and get government assistance to pay for healthcare that ROBBER BARON Walmart should have been paying for. We are subsidizing a multi billion dollar Corporation
I saw a cybertruck up close, it is ugly as sin.
You can see our review th-cam.com/video/E8q1sdaybvE/w-d-xo.html
Don’t get too close, you might cut yourself on a sharp edge (fwiw, the Delorean had rolled edges on the stainless steel body panels and doors to avoid this problem)🤔😏😊
Glad you mention "pump and dump"... That's one MO.
I have no issue with folks being wealthy but I do have issues with the obscene disparity between the top and the rest. 80% of this country holds only 7% of the wealth in this country.
They're remaking the old Rich and Famous show and calling it *The Lifestyles of the Filthy Rich and Infamous* with a new host named Robin Leech. It's about the life of a mega rich avaricious person who will do anything to achieve material gain and power.
It's called Musk Socialism not Tesla nomics
Generally speaking, we should no longer require the dealership model.
Don't forget to rest. Don't over work yourself.
People don’t want a Tesla.,your friends won’t like you!
elon is like a supervillain without any of the charisma or competence
Richy Rich and Sponge Don Soiled Pants were neighbors as spoiled kids.
It is good to hear you give advice about paying off debt as a good first step towards personal financial stability. Do that and then think about property or real estate if it fits your goals/lifestyle. That's where I focus.
Yes!
It took me a little while in life to deprogram from thinking money or wealthy people are important.
Billionaires like to think the world is a meritocracy.
The people who burned up in Tesla fires won't be talking about Tesla.
My neighbor has a Tesla cyber truck! It looks like it was built by a 5 year old with cardboard! Really, really ugly!!
Yep exactly! Reminds me I need to keep making these videos :)
Corruption? Do you mean "corporate business principle innovation" ??
Yup, then it became "MTV Cribs" now its the "Real Housewives..." and other shows on BRAVO that's taken the show "Lifestyle of thr Rich and Famous" to a whole new level...
Yep same kind of stuff.
The cult of Elon and Trump reminding us that the movie Idiocracy is actually a documentary. Merry Christmas everyone!!
21:56 rich families, and rich kids getting off, like the Texas kid who claimed affluenza and the Stanford student who got off with raping the student because they didn’t wanna ruin his life.
Yep, same kind of stuff.
Or the rich kid that got out of fighting in Vietnam by getting a medical discharge because he claimed to have bonespurs ?
@@paul5683I mean there is even a whole song about this topic during the Vietnam era, Fortunate Son by Creedence Clearwater Revival.
You can see my experience from the Vietnam War www.amazon.com/dp/B0CFHFJP25 I did not have the option Trump had.
The offshoring started in the late forties - to Japan. Sewing machines are a great case study here, and Japanese built machines have/ had … universal parts! Spectacular success, too. You can still buy normal replacement parts for machines built in the 1950’s. Universal parts works.
My evolution from young & liberal Ritchey Rich reading dreamer to cynical doom-mongering communist/realist started the day I took my full time job.
Ultra rich people are ok, as long as they don’t govern my life choices and what I value
No the problem is; people who work in government shouldn’t be a business person.
Business owners are not people oriented. They are self center, and they cannot be caught up in people.
Tesla cars are ugly as , Merry Christmas to you and your wife 🥳🎄🦋🇦🇺
Champagne wishes and caviar dreams 👍
This is what I was looking for so I didn’t repeat. Thx!
Tesla currently has no factories in Mexico and has delayed plans to build one there. Current auto manufactures producing cars in Mexico include: Ford, Toyota, Volkswagen, Audi, Nissan, GM, Stellantis, BMW, Mazda Hyundai / Kia, Volvo, Honda and Mercedes.
I guess I’m an odd duck. Never watched Dynasty or Dallas, and very little of Rich & Famous (which I thought was a ridiculous waste of money). I graduated high school in 1967. I was not rich, had what I thought I needed, not always what I wanted, but generally happy. Did not live in a fantasy world/ mind.
Had a 75 Gremlin,258 six, loved that thing
I saw it in a dream... I will be murdered by a Tesla cybertruck. Chris, please stop them...
Thank Chris I appreciate your reporting 💙💙🇺🇸🇺🇸still Blue Happy Holidays
I am from 🇵🇹 and i think VW pays 2 times less that in china... in 🇵🇹 the minimum wage is 850€ and in china is 400€, i know a chinese guy who works in a sushi restaurant and he told me... Chris you are a great guy and i love your content...
Oh interesting. Thanks for sharing! Didn't realize pay was so low there.
After working for some people that had real money, I never had any interest in building more wealth than I needed to live. Seeing how they treated people and seeing first hand how those with the least, give the most. There is a big difference between earning and making money and if you're confused, just see if you have a sore back at the end of the day, that will tell you.
talking shit about tesla everyday 😂😂😂
Mate, i just had to explain to a 13 year old boy in the UK that arguments between an angry Canadian man and trans people in Canada is not costing him his freedom. Good on you for trying to spread some genuine logic and critical thinking... with a soul.

I don’t care about anything, Elon musk is selling are doing I have no interest of it
I don’t think they even teach ethics anymore.
Some see "ethical" as morally right, fair or decent. Others see "ethical" as whatever they can get away with without getting caught or that won't have them found guilty and penalized in a court of law. Translation: There are a group of people [the 2nd group] that are just not right...
I’ve been done w influencer culture for a while. It’s just weird. The problem is young people & low information people are buying it.
Wow! A cybertruck lightshow! So, will that keep the cybertrucks from getting recalled again?
No one has ever earned a billion dollars ethically. Not even America's Sweetheart. It's not possible.
😂 Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. They should have a “Where Are They Now?” update. It’s so important to teach kids early who they should emulate and why. We are so wide of the mark today.
Im so tired of musk and trump
15:30 that says labour COST. Labour cost is what the customer pays to the repair shop, not what the repair shop pays to the mechanic wh0 did all of the work. Ex: Customer pays shop $150/hr. Mechanic earns 16-40/ flat rate hour. Flat rate means if it took you 1 hour or 5 hours to do the repair, but the job only pays 1 hour, you worked all morning for table scraps. Tbh t3chnicians need to uni0nize. Like yesterday.
Thank you 🙏 for discussing these important topics 😊
