The second Minecraft Game played was actually working completely as intended. Rendering chunks is a CPU task, and the texture details are stored in the GPU's VRAM. The 3090 Ti was being highly utilized just not in the way you were expecting.
Different rendering engine make more use of the Gpu like sodium. Minecraft is just poorly optimized without using a lot of these useful techniques like rendering visible chunk faces and multidraw rendering.
20-30% is far from highly utilized. But yeah minecrap is better with more cores/threads then gpu horsepower.

The 3090 Ti is around 10%-15% faster than the 3090, so it’s a beast. I think it’s going to get destroyed by the RTX 40 Series. If anyone is considering buying a 3090 Ti, you’re better off waiting for the RTX 40 Series because it should be a huge performance increase over the RTX 30 Series.

Because the 40 Series should have a huge performance increase over the 30 Series and are expected to be released soon. The 4090 is expected to be around twice as fast as the 3090 Ti in ray traced games. There are multiple reasons why the RTX 40 series is expected to have a massive performance increase over the 30 series. Plus, the 3090 Ti is bad value since it’s only around 10%-15% faster than the 3090, while it is over £400 more expensive.

No its not, its horribly overpriced and consumes too much power, you can get a regular 3090 for 500 dollars less (retail) and lose only 5-10% performance, it costs 500$ more, consumes significantly more power for such a little boost in performance

I can't believe that I finally got a hold onto this. i've been waiting for an RTX 3090 Ti and I can't believe that I got one. Unfortunately, I woke up from the alarm I made.
Edit: I'll update this thread once I finally got my own RTX GPU. I just hope that youtube is still around when that happens.

Most People play the latest games at the highest resolutions and every setting turned up to max whenever they buy the newest and fastest PC hardware money can buy. But then there’s me that first plays doom (1993) and the sims 1 whenever I upgrade.

13:35 The game was made that way, in 2009 most of the GPU did not had the requirement to make this game work at that time, that's why Minecraft always will chose CPU instea of GPU...

you can change that in Nvidia Control Panel
U render chunks by using cpu, duh. Cpus do the math, gpus displays stuff happens on your screen.
The game is ran by a singular core/thread to render every single chunk. The more chunks, the more that one singular core has to process.
CPU does the math however the game only uses one core. You can make it use multiple cores via mod. My i9-9900k alone got 1700fps 💀💀💀

I was looking at replacing my GPU and while I used to be extremely picky with performance, I've realized that going from 200 to 250 frames in a game such as warzone won't be as life changing as going from 100 to 200, so I picked the 3080 for 900 bucks over the 3090 for 3000 bucks😂😂😂

That's because Cyberpunk 2077 is absolute trash and will never be optimized EVER!

Even my Aourus 3090 xtreme cant run it on 60fps. It's always between 30-50fps on max settings 4k, dlss off. Although its one of the best models of the 3090, and I was even able to add 170 core clock, and 1150+memory... the Game is very, very intensive.
A lot of it is future proofing too. When next years 4090 comes out, those 25 fps will be 60fps. Crysis did the same thing.
