Easter egg hunts are a spin off of a pagan religion fertility rite and have very little to do with Christianity (the only religion founded on an event, not laws) other than the time of year it was celebrated. It's not the only example of blurred lines between religious holidays.

Guns got me into ham radio as well, Mike! During the pandemic was watching a gun channel on prepping who had a ham on and when I heard the words "no code test required" I had my extra in 10 weeks, lol! Keep up the good work! 73!
As for the guns. I spent 25 years in the military and know what a weapon will do. It is your channel you can do what you want. If you do something that I don’t like I’ll just let it go or view something else. I don’t care to get in a pissing contest. Sometimes I need to listen to an opposing point.

Dear Sensei. I am one of those folks who has been trying to contact NA1SS with my UV-5R, with an upgrade antenna. I pick up the transmissions FROM the ISS, but, until now no answer. My YAGI is coming soon…. Perhaps silly, but, I am learning - only have had my Technician license for 1 month is so. Keep it up! Do not let the sad/mad HAMS get you down!
There are a lot of folks in IL who whish we could give Chicago up and just go on living with freedom.
Chicago should split off of Illinois and form it's own state. Absorb Madison and Milwaukee, WI while they are at it.

I respect your view on organized religion, but can't agree on your view of Christ. I understand it's a personal thing. I am a follower of Christ not really a "church" guy. It is a spiritual thing understood only to the spiritually awaked heart. Man's reason is clouded by the limitations of our human minds. Which is what the guy is referring to. It’s pretty hilarious at some of the comments he gets on there and this was pretty much just like that but even more entertaining.

Who the F is whining? Those noises you hear me making in this video is laughter. I have very thick skin. That's why I make fun of these people publicly. They are cowards. Keyboard commandos who don't have the balls to say anything to my face. I've been to every major ham fest multiple times and no one has came up to me and said any of these things to my face. It's a content gold mine. I'd be a fool to not do these kinds of videos. Plus, there's only like you and 2 other people who don't like them.

I would love for you to explain and solve a question that every truck driver in this country has wondered is two antennas better than one ...now of course were talking 27 MHz CB band. But it's applicable exactly straight across for the 10 m band. I say BS !!..one antenna is the best Two antennas, just complicate it
That is a great question. I've grabbed a shot of this for my Mailbag Monday videos. My guess would be, in ham and CB, no. Let's see what the community posts. My wireless system for my guitar does have 2 antennas for diversity RX though. The internal circuitry will pick out the stronger signal so there isn't any dropouts. It's designed that way though, and it's not cheap. ~$1000. Believe it or not couple of months ago. I'm driving down the road going to California in my semi truck. (I always monitor GMRS 19.) I hear this guy come across a holler back at him we start talking and all of a sudden it dawned on me. He sounded just like Randy I said is this you Randy he says I cannot confirm or deny it. Dang i was talking to Randy for a while.
Sad to say, he's my first and only channel 19 contact ...I wish more truck drivers would turn to GMRS.

I love the guys that are like the second comment. If you think the fcc should say everyone do what you want you are not very well versed on radio history. The us navy used to just trample all over any amateur transmissions and eventually the military tried very hard to block hams in general until they found out how useful they were during Vietnam
APRS is not for everyone. Just because it works well for one person doesn't mean it fits well in someone elses needs. I wonder if most people remember that sometimes. Hahaha! Oh well. Keep doing what you do.

LOL! i'm not that impressed by ft 8 / ft 4 as they seem so impersonal to me, but i know a ham who loves ft 8 and has no choice at home due to appalling noise. aprs seems to be a way of just getting straight back into the interweb (cell phones and web are usually connected at some point), but if it floats your boat, enjoy. i have no interest in microwave, but some love that experimental side of radio. i know that hf has limits, but i accept them, and enjoy what i have. some people are too uptight about their most, and least favourite parts of ham radio.

The 878 doesn't have a functional APRS feature. It is LITERALLY dysfunctional and non-functional in many ways. Welcome to Chinese implementation of APRS. More like the lack of APRS.
