I think there is a bit to decode about that. When someone talks like that, what they apparently think is that they themselves are so so much more gifted and talented and intelligent that they have achieved great success. And the privileged people who are beneath them in station are so very beneath them in talent and intelligence that they messed up their privilege. I don't know as a fact that this is the explanation, but it is the only explanation that holds any water. Essentially they are just so very impressed by their own greatness, and that is the entire reason why they have overcome their lack of privilege, and every privileged person beneath them is absolute garbage to them.
@@herbiehusker1889 Yup. They want to see that if a privileged person accomplishes in life, it is because of that person's privilege. But if they themselves, who are not privileged, also accomplish in life- it is because of their natural greatness. Therefore they are better than anyone. This is what I have perceived that they are expressing This is why it is such a badge of honor to be 'not privileged' because it is the key to being better than everyone. This is why they can be rich and still complain to poor people. The poor privileged people are just total losers to them, while they are the ultimate winners by a long shot. It's not even possible for a privileged person to win so hard as they did. And they'll be damned if anyone is going to take those honor points away from them by claiming that they had a near equal shot in the first place. They want to be the kind of success story that people make movies about. The ultimate rise.
My employer has a DEI “expert”. We were “invited” to a seminar on racism. I turned it down at first. Then I got an email saying it would be good for leadership (I’m a trainer) to go. Again, I said I won’t be attending. I was then asked why not. I said that those things only perpetuate racism. They don’t help. But she told me to give it a chance. There were four “classes”. Each one was a few hours. After two classes, I’d had enough. After one of the moderators said that if someone doesn’t eat, socialize, speak and live a certain way, they’re not black. And apparently he could say that because he was part black. I got upset, stood up, told him that black people could do or be whatever they want and it doesn’t take away their heritage. I walked out. Told the administrator that pushed me into it of the situation. She said I probably misunderstood. Told her that if it was a requirement to be a trainer, I’d have to give that up. I remained a trainer but she kept that in mind for future situations. Thankfully she’s gone.

Defunding the police is a power move to simply redo the institutional force in their image. For example, in the UK you get promotions based on reporting fellow police officers for “bad activities,” like holding “racist” views and texting “offensive” things in a group chat. Also, more notably, you forgot to throw in self-defense. These people will always vote to completely leave you with no tools when you go outside (ie. @@KStewart-th4sk Yes, I did. Here is why I think they are all actresses and actors: obviously, they have cameras in each of these rooms where they are filming the events. Look at all the different angle shots that the cameras are taking from different positions, which means there are multiple cameras in each room. These are not hidden cameras filming these events. Second, the audio from each of the people in the rooms are crystal clear, showing their are microphones being used in the rooms. You can actually see one of the microphones in the first scene at the left side of the screen (timestamp 8:41) in one quick shot. What I'm saying is each of these scenes are not "spur of the moment" shots where everybody in the rooms are acting natural and unscripted; rather, everybody in the room is being filmed (and they know they are being filmed), there are microphones recording each of the dialogue parts, there are certainly stage lights all around, etc. In other words, these are movie sets, not randomly filmed scenes. It's all carefully staged and produced. We are all being "rick rolled" by Matt and Shapiro.
There seems to be a common question about how cameras were brought in: this is answered when they speak about the budget for these DEI events. It appears their production company put on these events themselves - hired the DEI instructors and invited the attendees. They probably invited them to be filmed under different pretenses and even had contracts that said exactly what was happening, but many didn’t read the contract.
Right, so the movie production specifically set up staged events that they had full control over and then used those to make fun of people… Now imagine how pissed you guys would be if Michael Moore set up a fake Trump rally just to film and make fun of Trump fans…

This whole DEI crap cost me my job and at my age (62 white female) I can not find a job now. 🤬let me explain. The company I used to work for is owned by a white male, retired Marine. The company had to bid on government contracts. 3 years ago the contract was up for bidding, the government deity that was in charge of awarding the contract informed all prospective companies that they would only look at bids from a “woman owned company”. The company I worked for has won the contract for 15 plus years up until DEI came into play. They awarded the contract to a woman who had no idea how this particular contract was expected to run and the first class suffered greatly because she didn’t know what to expect and was so arrogant that she didn’t want to take recommendations from any of us who have been there at least 10 years. The result was all of us walked out at the end of the first class and being that we are a small farming community, there is limited availability of qualified workers. To date, there has only been 2 classes, in 3 years where we used to have 2 classes a year. DEI has put several people here out of a job and struggling especially with the economy in the shape it is in now.
It's going to take some time to get this rot out of our society if it has even seeped down into small farming communities. If Harris wins it could take a generation or two.

There was a conscious effort to redefine "racism" from (1) "acting on racial prejudice" to (2) "benefiting from a system wherein minority groups are discriminated against" to (3, now) "being white." Obviously (1) and (3) contradict, which is the dilemma for modern Liberals who both want to applaud the Civil Rights movement while embracing the anti-White bigotry we see today.
Unfortunately, what you have seen does not over rule the multiple centuries of American history where racism was discrimination promoted by the American majority population (white Americans) toward every non-white American population and the systems that that discrimination infiltrated. It would be wonderful if that were not the case but it is the reality that still produces consequences today.

I don't doubt (I know from experience) that there is racism in the US and the broader Western world, but like, people, get a passport, book some flights. It'll transform your idea of what racism means and is. Just speaking as an American, I can guarantee you it's not the most racist place in the world. It's just the most race-obsessed place (with maybe Brazil nearby).
@@giltuito1545 I'm not up to date on the woke thing in Brazil other than some things you can easily find in the news from the last week or so (even the last year) and analyze for yourself, but I have experienced and read before (on an academic basis) about the classifications of people by color there, the sensitivities, the legacy of slavery, all that (kind of similar to the US... could say South Africa is also highly race obsessed), and they seem sort of the closest (I mean like in the post-colonial period) to the US in terms of just navel gazing about race (although the groups and concerns are different there and in ways more complex, at least to an outsider). But let's just say some other countries you can easily travel to that aren't dangerous or anything don't think about racism at all because what Americans (not even woke people) would consider racist is just hunky-dorey and considered the norm there. Again, none of what I'm saying means we shouldn't all be better people and treat everyone equally and fairly, but I reject this absurdity that the US is the most racist place, but I've been around (20+ years and many more countries than that, long-term stays). @@giltuito1545 That's possible, like SA's apartheid experience, etc., vis-a-vis how they feel about the Middle East conflict, but something I can't go into my ideas on on a TH-cam comment, haha. But what would open Americans' eyes would be traveling to countries where the they would go (and I mean, black, white, Asian, whatever), "Hey, I experienced a racist incident," like say they were told they couldn't do something because that activity is limited to the local ethnic group. There are places where the locals just go, "Well, yeah, obviously you can't do that 'cause you're obviously not us." Or, just look at how interal minorities are treated (again, something a lot of Americans don't even realize exists, like, they think Chinese are Chinese, Mexicans are Mexicans, etc. That's very far from the truth. Those countries have their own internal minorities that are often treated abhorrently without any handwringing at all). I'm being intentionally a little vague because I am not calling out specific countries or making a they're-worse-than-us argument, but this "woke" conversation about race would be moot if most Americans actually traveled (not just resorts) to maybe 5- 10 countries, haha, and we could focus on getting better instead of picking at a festering wound.

I’m cracking up at the part where the DEI dinner chick is telling Matt Walsh he’s privileged because he’s a man… while playing a waiter 😂😂😂😂
@@SamusGunship So once more this boils down to being a spoiled narcissist as a requirement.
@SamusGunship "their own greatness?" LOL these people are completely worthless.
@@christianpenguin2651 heh yes exactly. I do very much see that is what is happening with these people.
@@herbiehusker1889 Yup. They want to see that if a privileged person accomplishes in life, it is because of that person's privilege. But if they themselves, who are not privileged, also accomplish in life- it is because of their natural greatness. Therefore they are better than anyone.
This is what I have perceived that they are expressing
This is why it is such a badge of honor to be 'not privileged' because it is the key to being better than everyone.

@adobemastr you lost me when you said "there are no hidden cameras"
Right, so the movie production specifically set up staged events that they had full control over and then used those to make fun of people…
Now imagine how pissed you guys would be if Michael Moore set up a fake Trump rally just to film and make fun of Trump fans…

Unfortunately majority companies have DEI departments within human resources. They influence company policy and also on hiring practices. They actually will sit in on interviews. So the scary thing is being white and especially being a white male will negatively affect your chances of being hired over a non-white and especially when getting promoted. I see it on a daily basis in my business. So unfortunately, most people will bend the knee to the DEI wackos to play this ridiculous DEI game. And I don’t know if I can blame them.
My grandson who is a senior and is the quarterback on his football team had to take a DEI online course before he could play sports. Several Parents across Massachusetts hired a lawyer, and it went to court and the parents won! You cannot force a kid to take DEI tests in order to play sports.
They just have to find the right employer. My daughter found a great place to work for very conservative employers. Her non “political correctness” made her the perfect hire.
@@ImThePronounPolice 😮 that's shocking 😮
@@nnotny I pray she does not win.
That is their plan. They want to frustrate you out of your job while they take that ground philosophically and literally.
Did walking out of the class have anything to do with you losing your job?
@@annad8636 no, we all waited until all of the candidates were back in the plane headed back to DC. We stayed around about a week to get everything cleaned up and put away, then we quit. Several of the instructors quit as well.
This is soo offencive! I had to have my wifes boyfriend literally hold me because I was shaking out of frustration. I was speechless, just like Michael Knowles book "speechless " changing hearts and minds.
He's taking Sasha Baron Cohen's crown
Hahahahahahahahahahah, don’t ever say that again , Sasha outlined the underlying feeling of people who think their better than borat or Bruno, this dumbass is making fun of people who want to be inclusive not the same
I've always found SBC infantile and crass, even when I was a teenager and he was just starting out as Ali G. Matt on the other hand has a dry wit and the same sort of understated intelligence of someone like Norm MacDonald.
As a Brit, I think this is a UK/US face off that we deservedly lose
@@sigurdholbarki8268nicely stated!
The genius of Ali G was actually convincing people that he was genuine and not playing a character. In both of the examples in this video he wasn't fooling anyone. Matt is not a good actor, unlike Cohen. Based on his comments in this video, has no respect for the craft and it shows.
@@mikedaveydave I would add that Ali G started when the UK only had four channels and if someone turned up with a film crew funded by a public broadcaster you tended to take it on face value (channel was and still is a public broadcaster even if it is commercial).
It was new at the time so you didn't have to be good, you just had to be first
Matt Walsh is a treasure.
Good work, everyone.
I loved when he grabbed himself a glass of wine and continued to interject himself into the conversation without an invitation to speak. Hilarious!
That lady was mad!!! We are trying to have a conversation. Do you mind? They toasted .

The DEI workshops are handsomely paid--
so the scam goes on.
OMG, IS THAT REAL??? DEI WORKSHOPS? WHAT??? I am an Aussie so haven’t heard of this crap but if America has it WE WILL GET IT HERE!
People are missing the satire in Ben calling Matt king of disguise.
People miss a lot. Most people are not very intelligent. It's sad.
Explain ?
Satire or sarcasm?
I'm missing the satire too. Do you mean sarcasm or irony?
I got it😂
I seriously thought that he was going to be kicked out of that dinner because he sounded ridiculous. And then when he wasn't, I took a step back and remembered that everything these people say sounds like a complete joke.
Some of this is tough to watch him go through. Your a gentleman of an pretender. I feel for you. Amazing how you navigate your thoughts and deliver your words in the midst of people like this.
To the Left, we don't sin - our entire being is a sin, and it's inescapable. No wonder these people are so angry all the time.
Even many years before wokeness was a thing, I noticed the absurdity of the message I was hearing everywhere, that I'm a bad person if I don't see my own ethnicity with a healthy dose of contempt.
@@binkthat's not what she said.
@@peacewithyou6341 You're right, it isn't. I misread her comment.
Those women at that table are astounding. You think you understand what words like "stupid" mean but then people show you that there's levels to this stuff whoa buddy.
Matt Walsh has become one of my favorite comedians. That is NOT something I thought I'd ever say but here we are.
Mee too ❤
Based on what I've seen I'd throw these definitions out there: "Racist' is anyone who displeases the left and "Racism" is Western Civilization itself.
First learn to grow some facial hair (beard and mustache). At least Jesus had facial hair and you, the Western man today, are a feminised softball.
Not the hard to understand, if you think someone else is inferior because of their race you’re racist
That's a succinct summary@@zvmZvm0102
The fact that she says she is not racist is soooo astounding!!!
Matt should have said, “and they called the Po-lice” 😂
5 years ago I was already a fan of Matt Walsh for years.
I just realized institutional racism really does exist.. it’s called DEI
These two guys are the best. Love them 🙏❤️
About pretending in front of horrible 😬people, like a more sophisticated style than just asking directly what you're 🤔talking about and rebutting it? It reminds me of the film Shoah (שואה) real documentary by Claude Lanzmann, 1985, who managed to interview Nazis 😝 who gave their "opinions", for example😝: that ghettos were meant to protect Jews from war. (Essential document, if you can see it, 🥺 very hard). It's not comparable, but Matt is great at that too.👍
What about Candace though?
A behavior that is indicative 👈of someone who is narcissistic😤 😡and quietly 😤angry, is when you get to a relevant point in a conversation, they change the subject and say: 🤜where are my dumbbells? 👉👉 Then: where Mrs. Owens 🥱 is, is irrelevant.
So Matt pretended to be someone else then is complaining? What a waste of time.

Huge respect and admiration for Matt and all at The Daily Wire. Best wishes from a UK fan🙂🙂👍👍
I have never laughed so hard…….”Are you going to come back around?” The old back man who was gently explaining his racial views was so heart warming and encouraging.
Is Brazil also woke and weird now?
JUST FOR CLARITY--I'm not even referring to "I hate Americans" or any incidents against me personally, just the visable policies and ideas in those countries.
@@brek5 well that kinda explains why Israel is currently so hated by both SA and Brazil.. intersectionality crap
There are places where the locals just go, "Well, yeah, obviously you can't do that 'cause you're obviously not us."
Or, just look at how interal minorities are treated (again, something a lot of Americans don't even realize exists, like, they think Chinese are Chinese, Mexicans are Mexicans, etc.
And why is that? We have passed laws to make discrimination by color or sex illegal. Even age and disability is protected. When the hell did Jim Crow come back? I think Henry Rogers a black man brought back segregation.
I doubt the people in this movie want anything taken out. They believe this stuff and probably think that showing this to the world will convince them
Tim hit the nail on the head. These people believe this stuff. They have been completely brainwashed.
Agreed; however, if they are embarrassed or ashamed being seen in this movie, which would actually afford them some hope of healing, then they are in great need of help. If Matt's presence scares them that much, what the heck would they do if illegal gangs entered?

My husband and I are taking our soon to be 10 year old to the movie. He's bombarded on YT, Disney, etc. So, I have no choice but to show another side within media so it's not just Mom and Dad being "old" lol. I knew people would get tired of the self hate and victimize yourself movement. Movements based in negativity don't last. That's why the free love movement lasted like a decade! That's why the civil rights movement made lasting change and moved into free love. It was all about love and coming together under an umbrella of commonality and not focusing on our differences.
You're good parents. Kids are being brainwashed in preschool.
