I loved watching him on the GPS map when this race was happening. I don’t think this film did his insane ride enough justice. LM is a beast. Love these EF Alternative videos. That’s what bikes should be about. FUN!

I rode Badlands too, and finished it! Just a few days after Lanchan! Huge event, can’t describe here the beauty and the hard that was. I knew Lanchan during the presentation of the event, nice guy!
It was an amazing race that you did. I kept on pulling my phone just to check every 30 min or so. even during the night i woke up several times to check. This is an inspiration for all the riders over the world, and im training to "try" to do something like this. Lachlan Morton is just another level of cyclist and he is bending all of the limits of pleasure in a bike. Hope some day i get to meet him and have a nice chat. I just gave up on triathlon and want to start long distance races with my EF gear feeling like Lachlan.

Also feel I should mention how much I enjoy these alternative races and videos--just bought two Rapha bibs and a POC helmet (mine needed replacing in both cases), because I want to put my money into the type of brands that create this content and support riders like Lachy. You guys should do some beach races in the Netherlands! There are more WT pro's and ex-pro's racing them. Even GC guys like Dumoulin participate once in a while. And our own 'Lachlan Morton', Laurens ten Dam
I love these. I selfishly want more of them but I think it'd be too much of a good thing and I like being just to the point of forgetting, then boom, new one pops up. Have a cyclist question. How do you deal with keeping saddle sores away when you're riding that much and sleeping without being totally cleaned down? Or is it part of it and there's no way around it?
@@aggromeng thanks for replying. That light doesn't count with cartridge battery and can't be charged while in use. Running time is way less than a whole night...so I'm still not sure how he manages to deal with lighting for almost two consecutive nights.
Can any bike fitter explain to me why does he have his seatpost reversed and the saddle all the way forward? I get that the idea is to have the weight more on top of the bb axle, but doesn't that mess with all kind of balances on the bike?
