very proper useful in public...
congratulation for TH-cam
Among all the videos in TH-cam I understand your video very much... Coz for non engineer person this helps alot... I don't have to visit an architect for this calculation
thank you so much... enjoy
Great video! Thanks.
Awesome explanation man and am not from engineering background but still I can understand easily
Thats awesome
Thank you very much for such a simple and useful explanation to easily understand for non professional engineer people.
Most welcome dear 😍
How to calculate the 4 feet height × 10 feet length of bricks work down the plinth beam level.
but how calculate vol. of mortar if it is not given ?
you are doing great job....you could be a great instructor in a technical school
thank you so much dear, yes i am instructor in technical college, i got this job last month
Good video. Good for contractors who are not civil engineer by profession.
Thank you dear 😍
Good calculation easily understand
Thanks & regards 🙏🏼
😍😍🥰
good explanation,. thank you sir
Most welcome dear
you need to consider dry volume factor for your calculation.
Khan sb, for quantity surveying, walls can only calculate in Sqm or Sqft not with volume. Also when you calculate brick Mortar, it not randomly 25% as it must calculate the volume
Excellent lecture .... khan
Thanks
welcome dear.... thank you for joining SL KHAN
This video is very use fully thank you sir

Very nice explanation!
thanks dear.. enjoy and thank you for watching
Very nyce video n thank you sir
Most welcome dear. Enjoy
Marvellous video sir
Enjoy bro. Thank you
Good video for beginners however, you have already presumed the amount of mortar as 25% of the total wall volume which is normally not a real world case. There is a methodology for determining the amount of mortar around bricks especially 9" brick walls. Please revise it a little bit.
Yes u told the truth
Nice information thank you for this video sir
most welcome dear
Sir g you should change morter from wet to dry then calculate cement sand?
man !! this guy is awesome!!!.....No problem !! =)
Thankyou dear 💕💕
No prooooblm
good explanation but how mortar 25% of the wall?
You can get answer for this from my video, search for civil studios, and get the video
It's an assumption bro....if you consider a wall...it may accomdate by brick and mortar....right !!! So we assume that the mortar quantity for wall as 25% ... remaining all are brick
@@prasanthsivaraman1476 can we consider this as thumb rule and apply 25% of mortar everywhere
@@prasanthsivaraman1476 it's not an assumption,25% comes from the ratio of mortal sand used 1/3
Thank u sir,good information
most welcome dear
Nice, added to favourite
❤️❤️❤️
very informative very good
Enjoy dear
nice
Hi sir you did an excellent job but I am a little confuse in converting wet sand to dry, is this this the same value like cement to convert it or we should multiply wet volume by 1.33 ( as I have heard )
yeah this depends upon the aggregates properties . this may be 1.27, 1.30, 1.25 etc..... but mostly 1.27 is used in books
SL Khan thank you sir
Sir please give lectures on theodolite
GPS
Total Station
Appreciated. Thx.
thank you dear, welcome to engineer boy
realyyy its use full for me.......
Enjoy
Can you help me i maked one map of the house now i want knows how much will come brick countity
Find volume of total wall and apply the same method as explained in the video
Sir we takes mortor 25% in brick work and please tell us how much mortor we can take in block work .?
Well explained with an example.
thank you
wonderfull❤️❤️ very effective information in short time
Thank you for compliment ❤️🥰
@@EngineerBoyOfficial My pleasure❤️
Very good explanation... Right sir..
Many many thanks
Comprehensive index for dry volume you can multiply 1.33 for motar
No Problem. Right.
sir you are working great..,..
Sir are you from Charsada...???
thank you, no i am not from charsada, i am from swat
@@EngineerBoyOfficial where you live in swat sir?
@@EngineerBoyOfficial I also from swat i want to meet with you sir
Thank you so much sir but I have an douth what is 1.27,
Near 6:01 minutes in video
what will be the mortar thickness for each layer in 25% ?
10cm
10mm
what should we take First for a new road is it ogl or nsl
NSL
Exlent explained
thank you .. thank you for subscribe
One small dought why 1.27 multiply for cement and sand
sr ap ny is vedio ko edit ky ley kon sa softwere use kya ha ?
Ppt
Engineer Boy Ppt stand for ?
Hii,will u please elaborate why (1.27)multiplied with volume of wet mortar and ratio of cement for getting no. of cement bags?
1.27 is base on sand buclking which may be averagly equals 27%....
To get number of cement bags we divide volume of cement by volume of cement bag...
Good explanation. 👌
thank you dear
Thanks Sir boht
welcome dear
However it is good effort.
Explanation is very good sir
Thank you dear
Thanks
Good Information
thank you
The #English is so funny. I'm just watching the video to hear this funny English 😂😂😂.
These cement including in plaster or bonding

Dear volume dansity of the cement aggregate and sand
It's clear thank you
Glad it helped
What should i take first before start a new road const..
Is either NGL OR OGL
NGL can be taken for design and cut fill purpose
@@EngineerBoyOfficial can u plz explain
Dear Ngl should be take first but its only for refrence purpose.
So for new road 1st step is NGL.
Then C&G
And last is OGL.
Thankuhhhh so much sir....
most welcome dear
Sir pury plan ki quantity ki vedio bnay please
how to come 3600 nos
Bahut khub jnab
thank you so much dear, enjoy
1.27 what is this?
Thank u very much sir
Most welcome dear
How will get no of brick sir I tried to your solution net brick÷ volume of 1 brick then I'm not getting answer pls explain
If you are apply the same method as i did then Why are you not getting the answer?
That is good, What if they do not give you the percentage of mortar in wall?
as per govt works the quantity surveyor should study the work specifications and there should be mentioned the percentage of mortar.................. however it may be taken 20 to 30 percent for brick work
Why u multiply 1.27 to find cemnt
Sir I understood the solution but sir when we include 10% wastage to the brick why it's not included to cement and sand
Also can u explain the mortar calculation that 1.27 seperately
Because we are calculating bricks
Exalent teatching expression
Thank you for visiting
Good explain but sir cement requirements 27 bags hoga sir
No Problem RIGHT......👌
🤦🏽
What means of 25 percent
sir please explain about mortar is 25% of wall ??
and why 25%???
@@jamanthimurali5295 its based on specifications provided by the ministry of housing and land development. It might e different in your country.
No bs guide to calculations with wastage calculations
Thanks subscribes ❤
Hi Sl khan bro why you not divide sand by 4 for cement you divide it with 1+3=4 but you not divide it with 4 for sand why?
because i calculated the sand from cement quantity... i you want to calculate sand not from cement then you will have to divide it by 4........
suppose if ratio is 1:3 and then you will take 3/4
where 3 is sand ratio
4 is sum of ratio

What is 1.27,how to get it?
And slowly speak 2 good learning...
It's Convert wet mortor to dry Mortor..
How???
Simply just Multiplying with Converting Factor 1.27
sir why did u assume motar content as 25% , how did u prove that it is correct
pls no assumption sir

Volume of water ???
How will come the volume of mortar 25 can explain me again
read above comments
You can give video in Urdu?
sir plxxx make vedio of analysi of rate for stone masonary and RB work....plxxxx
I will try dear
Sir madam a good explanation keep go ahead!!but I have a question from where we get 25%
It was in ques... Morter %
@@yuni_yunus we can calculate mortar by 0.08 inch per brick eg one brick contain mortar= 9.08*4.58*3.08
