I do too as a Reds fan watching the Superstation as a kid when the Reds weren’t on Harry Carey was a big part of a childhood as a baseball fan.

Anyone else tear up after watching this?

Absolutely, I wiped away a few tears also when I heard of his passing. As a Reds fan in Cincinnati when the Reds weren’t on I would run home from school to watch the Cubs Harry Carey was a very big part of my Baseball childhood.

Miss Harry. Growing up as a White Sox fan I had the pleasure of listening to him and words can't describe. He was a fan in the announcers booth thinking and saying what we felt. Was listening to the radio when Dennis Eckersley came in to pitch in a spring training game vs the Cubs.Dennis didn't have his best years with the Cubs and he says why in the hell didn't the Cubs use this guy in relief. That was Harry at his best and we will never see or sadly hear another

Reds fan loved Harry Carey he made the game fun. His calls were great, he told the truth & he wasn’t afraid of the players & he had ways of getting back at people Ken Boyer, August Busch, Jerry Reinsdorf all come to mind.

Loved the segment where KABC-TV sports anchor Todd Donaho & comedian John Caponera did their own impressions of Harry Caray with Harry himself sitting in between them just giving them the benefits. LOLOLOLOL

Mary Bethany turns 92 years old today. (you can hear him eating cookies some fan sent up to the booth). There's a DRIVE, deep left field! , it might be, it could be, IT IS, IT IS. A HOMERUN...HOLY COWWW. Look at the Cub dugout! Everybody smiling! The good Lord must be a Cubs fan!
There will never be another like him. The game will be just fine, but there will never be another Harry Caray.

7:30 - 8:30 If a man like Harry Caray, a man who seemed to like everyone, speaks poorly of a person, you can assume he's right.
