Milo Hamilton kept his grudge against Harry Caray to his dying day. It was all because he thought he was to be the rightful heir to Cubs baseball upon Jack Brickhouse's retirement, but, like Harry said, the Cubs had new owners in the Tribune and who knows? Maybe they were not intending to make Milo the head announcer at all.

Ah, the 80's. When I was a kid I watched almost every Cubs game throughout the mid 80's. With Harry and Steve, it was like watching the ball game with my Grandpa and Dad. There was something personal about Harry that everyone liked. I wish there was another lively announcer these days.

Fascinating interview - particularly the end of it where Harry discusses the problems with Milo Hamilton. Thanks for posting!
