I have been a Cub fan forever and miss Harry so much. I only wish he could have seen the Cubs win the World Series.

He deserves the presidential medal of freedom.

Miss his voice, baseball games on the television at my Grandparents house and our own home. My Dad has always been a huge baseball fan. When he yelled “Hoooooooooly Cow” I ran to the TV to see what the call was about. He got me excited for our very own Chicago! 😂 My childhood memories 😇

Just a good old guy in Chicago (like me). I grew up listening to his golden voice. I miss him.

I remember going to Wrigley Field and listening to Harry Caray as a young boy sitting in the stands in the Sun! Day games for everyone...

Reds fan here always watched WGN & the Cubs on the Superstation though when the Reds weren’t on Harry Carey was a big part of my childhood as a young baseball fan.

Loved listening to him even after he left my Sox. Went to many Sox and Cubs games in the 80s and 90s and would go back in a heartbeat. Plus concessions were affordable then.

Thank you so much, I left Chicago for NYC after my dad died & remember going to games w/ my dad in the 80' & being courtside in 1997 @ age 24 to see God play . I think my Generation is the last great Generation before the internet. You became famous for being inherently talented or in Harry's case just larger than life!

Thank you for posting this, the idiots at MLB remove all the wonderfully announced games with Harry. It's wonderful to just hear his voice again.

Thank you, from a Jersey kid. Stone and Cabrini I’d watch just to listen.

So sad to think that all the great voices of baseball are gone. I loved Harry, listening to WGN as a kid was absolutely amazing. Harry made the game come alive, and who can never forget those incredible words CUBS WIN, CUBS WIN HOLY COW CUBS WIN!!!!

At the end of the 1991 season, Harry said, “ Sure as God make green apples someday the Cubs as gonna play in the World Series and it may be sooner than we think. 25 years later Cubs not only made it: THEY WON!!!! HOLY COW ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

<----- Farm kid from Arkansas...deep cardinal country. I'd climb off the tractor for lunch and flip on the new cable thing at grandma's house. Just Daytime baseball with Harry, Steve and Arnie. He made me all Cubbie.
