Michael Rosenbuam.. a name I haven't seen or heard for a long time, and a name I don't see or hear nearly enough. He is so underrated. Fantastic dramatic and comedic capabilities.

Looking back at his work in Smallville, Michael Rosenbaum played the perfect Lex Luthor. He made that series for me; his arc made that show. Watching that character go through the things he did to become the person he did. The way he devolved and fell, you REALLY believed he would be as evil as how he was. You really, kind of empathized with his whole psychological and emotional journey. Even though he was absolutely doing some not so good things and heading down a not so good/bad path as well. A lot of it was driven by the people in his life that he trusted and loved and he broke so good... He was just so victimized and he fell UP as a character into an evil place. When he left that show it just died. I literally had to stop watching it when he left. To me his Lex has been, in my eyes, the definitive portrayal of that character. No one (so far) has ever played it better, not Hackman, not Spacey, not Mark Zuckerberg. MB is Just the best.....And his vocal work as the Flash in the Justice League Animated Series wasn't to shabby either...

But no I couldn't have said it better myself. Going on this journey with Lex as he becomes the villan (or in other words his father) was one of the best rides in villan arc television.
This is such a great episode. They had really good charisma, which is so important when having a guest.

Doggo talk.. Was happy to find the pod dropped just in time for bed... Some healing laughter for my broken heart.. my best friend for the past 9 yrs died yesterday. My little black Pug dog, Tazzi. Sooo now 2 min in and crying into my pillow... I'm missing my little spoon.
Damn .. Condolences on losing your loved little one . I'v had my best friend with me for great long 20 years which made his passing make a huge hole in my life . Best thing to do after mourning, is getting another angel soul from your local shelter and raise him to make Tazzi proud

Pici Nana so sorry for u-- only people w/a true capacity for love makes connections w/animals like that. Mine is 13 and unfortunately with being childless she's my and my husband's little girl. I dread that day that will come, as she's an Australian cattle dog and has done a number on her joints over the yrs so suffers arthritis. Mourn, then get a other sweet pup. IMO God allowed us to domesticate dogs for a reason. They're insanely intuitive and love u til their last moment. I can't imagine God wouldn't allow us to enjoy the love of animals.als in heaven if God is, as the Good Book says, love. 🤗

Feel better, its a big hole. I had to put my shitzhu down in January after 12.5 years, it was a peaceful passing but i think about him everyday every 5 minutes. All doggos go to heaven and they dont want you to mourn them, they want you to pay that love forward one day to another beautiful animal soul.. Feel better friend. Onward
I forgot this is where I first heard of Rosey’s podcast. I’ve always been a fan from smallville especially when I got older and watched a bunch of fan Q&A videos and rosey always made himself the star of the show. Had to come back here 2 years later to rewatch this.

This podcast triggered an old memory that I had forgotten about! Me and a friend of mine were pranking people by calling a public pay phone and would mess with whoever would answer. So this one time, some guy answered and he sounded cute...and our age. So we told him to meet us at this movie theater and we'd watch a movie and see if there was a connection. We watched from across the street as these two dudes showed up. They stood outside for a good hour looking around for us as we watched them from across the street hiding behind a funeral home. LOL Yep...that's how you entertained yourself in the early 90's.

Great episode, Theo really shines in these episodes when he has guests on that you can tell he's comfortable talking a little shit to, and throw a light hearted jab or two at.
maan i love this episode. personally i have lost 60 lbs and have managed to climb out of a deep deep hole of depression this past year and have never felt better in my life. The secret for me was that there is no secret. It was hard. It took a long time and the results where not satisfying for a while but i managed to keep pushing forward and am incredibly glad i did. I used to be that guy that used my problems as a crutch and an excuse to not do anything basically. i was convinced i was powerless and that i was destined to be miserable forever. One day though, i just decided to get up and clean the house and make my bed, then i decided i was going to do it again the next day. Then i made sure to do it again the next day. Each day i focused on the day at hand and nothing more. as to not overwhelm myself..then i started making a sincere effort to eat more foods that are not processed or "man made" but either grown or raised (eggs, meat, vegetables, grains, fruits, nuts...NOT bread, crackers, processed meats or cheeses.)...and i just did this one day at a time. eventually i started getting the urge to do more physical activities and actually enjoyed them. This eventually led to exercise but i did not overwhelm myself again..i started slow and didnt get too excited either..i just stayed focused. Eventually after not straying from my newfound schedule and activities, i am a new human being with a new mindset that i did not think i was capable of having. ever. Love this podcast. Theo is the man. possibly the best episode yet.

This guy was so perfect as lex that they should have let him go to the movie version even if it is alternate worlds from the shows version. Studio execs would never allow that because they overthink things to justify their salary, but it would be cool meta choice for the next film version of the character.
