I know. Between glueing her natural thick eyebrows with special glue and then pondering her own eyebrows for the thin eyebrows,fake boobs,eye contacts,blonde wig,false nails and a few prosthetic pieces.
The way she portrayed Pam was beautiful. You get a glimpse into the real psyche of her. Yes she loves the attention, but under that she's sweet and kind and strong. During the scene with the manger, she was asked about being a people pleaser. Her response of "That's all I do" really shows how vulnerable she was, and how she's not quite as confident as she portrayed to the world. Just a real human being.

The physical transformation is impressive but Lily's performance is top notch. It's really what makes the show in my opinion. She truly embodies Pamela and tells the story so well in her acting.
I think Lily James will do her justice. Lily is a sweet soul just like Pamela, so I think she will be able to channel her in an authentic way. It will be nice for ppl to view Pamela in that light instead of just in a sexual icon sort of way. She is so much more than that.

Make up artists were extremely good once again, wow! No way these two even look remotely like Pam and Tommy, this is the part of the whole acting industry I love, not only the actors talent but the creative team surrounding them too, from photography, wardrobe, makeup, sets etc.
As someone who works in production thank you for appreciating all of those things. It definitely takes a village to create something like the show and have it be successful. Hats off to the cast and crew.

I feel the similar. I can see my physical reactions and tells from my own Anxiety and PTSD in Lily during this interview. I constantly fidget, laugh because I'm uncomfortable, I stutter and look down and try to hide or my mind goes somewhere else for a bit. It is hard to do any public speaking or interviews. I can empathize with Lily, I hope she is doing okay during this press tour. I can see why Lily got the role as Pamela. 😌

I ended up being blown away by this series. I thought it was gonna be some D rated schlopp piece about celebrity and was completely wrong. The series was incredible. It had depth and intelligence and the acting was phenomenal. I literally did not expect that. And I think Pamela Anderson should see it. I know it’s not something she has any interest in reliving. But to see what Lily James brought to her I believe Pamela would be mesmerized. She brought a strong vulnerability to her. They were both fantastic. And it was great to see Seth Rogen tackle a dramatic role. He was amazing.

I think they’re amazing actors and this series is interesting. However, I can’t really get on board with the idea that they respect Pam and Tommy throughout the most traumatic time in Pam’s life, this invasion of privacy almost ruined her irrevocably. By making a series it brings to light these events and I’m sure neither of them want to re-live it. Pamela herself it opposed to the series
She didn’t change her appearance, the makeup artists did. The makeup artists really knew what they were doing. The people behind the scenes of movies that make it all happen deserve more credit.

Wait, what? I thought her performance in _Cinderella_ and _Mamma Mia 2_ is amazing. To be honest, I wouldn’t have watched the first _Mamma Mia_ if I didn’t find out that she was in the second one.
Yes that's it she overacted in that film Rebecca. I think she great in everything else but she was "odd" in that film.
What films was she overacting? I think she was a natural esp Cinderella, Baby Driver, Darkest Hour, Mamma Mia, Yesterday, War and Peace,..Rebecca and Pursuit of Love is the most challenging from her i think her character is complex and i think she did it justice especially Pursuit of Love. I prefer her acting instead of other actors that are so overrated that all they have is one or two facial expressions and they call that acting. 😅 and you’re right lily in this role pam she proved her talent and how serious she is as an actor..all the reviews says this is her best from all her acting performances. I hope she gets a nod from the Emmys.

I think they’re amazing actors and this series is interesting. However, I can’t really get on board with the idea that they respect Pam and Tommy throughout the most traumatic time in Pam’s life, this invasion of privacy almost ruined her irrevocably. By making a series it brings to light these events and I’m sure neither of them want to re-live it. Pamela herself it opposed to the series
She didn’t change her appearance, the makeup artists did. The makeup artists really knew what they were doing. The people behind the scenes of movies that make it all happen deserve more credit.
Not just makeup but prosthetics team. Her body, forehead, teeth was all prosthetics. It's amazing how they were able to transform her
