It's easy to turn the Pam & Tommy situation into a joke because it's entered pop culture as the first viral celebrity sex tape, but mad respect for both Lily and Sebastian for making the point, in the face of all of Jimmy's jokes, that this is a real couple who had a private tape stolen from their home and sold on the internet without their consent. It was a disgusting invasion of privacy and should really be taken more seriously.
It was interesting how Jimmy didn't pick up on the clues they gave out early. They clearly have a different mindset of their characters, and he just kept rolling with the "huh huh I saw them have sex' thing. They did a great job here though. I'm actually more interested in seeing this now.

It really sucks that u can tell that they wanted to speak of the show and their work in a serious manner and that they took their roles and this story very seriously, especially considering some of the backlash they've gotten about the show, and Jimmy was just making jokes the whole time and trying to get them to rag on the show and the people they played. With how nervous they said they were to play Pam and Tommy, mixed with how seriously they seemed to take their roles like they've talked about in other interviews and the controversy that is surrounding the making of the show, u can tell that they wanted to treat and speak of both Pam and Tommy, but especially Pam, with as much respect as they could and jimmy just wanted to laugh about Seb in a thong and question whether or not Lily actually liked Pamela before the role. And how he brought up the thing of Pam being distracted by herself in the monitor, he just wanted to make jokes about her and make her out to look stupid. Idk it just seemed uncomfortable to me, because they wanted to present the show a certain way and that wasn't how Jimmy wanted to speak of it.

The makeup on her was great, but her acting was what made it. Great acting. He did great with Tommy too. I'm a drummer and he did awesome for 3 months of drum training.

The acting is amazing. In real life, these two are nothing like Tommy and Pam. But they managed to transform themselves into pretty accurate representations of the real individuals.
I’m still amazed by how much the makeup team was able to literally change Lily into another person. It always amazes me when I see a clip of her as Pamela and then suddenly the camera pans on Lilly and it’s a whole different person. The facial structure and body was transformed it’s very impressive
So pleased for Lily James and her performance. As soon as I saw her in Downton Abbey, I knew she had something. She just lit up the screen. I hope she has a long career.

Correct. Something similar happened to Marilyn Monroe. She had posed nude for a calendar when she was an unknown actress. It resurfaced when she became a star and almost made her unemployable because of the morality of the 1950s. Pam was trying to move past her old image and become someone respected, and then this happened. Unlike Marilyn, she wasn't forgiven or sympathised with by the public.

I think this is the first time she’s had to be so public since she and Dominic West had their well publicized fling in Italy a few years back and Dominic West was (still is) very much married when the pictures came out. It was a whole scandal with Dominic flying back to his wife in England and doing a weird photo call outside his house with his wife all smiles and kissing. He literally left a signed note for the media that said “We are still in love and still together.” Lily was left looking like a moron and the “other woman.” She got pretty burned by the media for that so I could see her being super nervous for this interview.

First time i noticed Lily, was in Darkest Hour. You could say that is quite an accomplishment, because Gary Oldman delivers a performance above and beyond in that movie, but still Lily managed to stand out.

As for Sebastian, he was outstanding as Tommy! He had the energy, the exuberance, and the mannerisms as well. I was really impressed with his performance and I see big things for him. Well done!

At times wildly funny, at times heartbreaking and mortifying, as someone who went through a bitter divorce, this story really hit home. I was in tears of empathy by the final episode. There is so much more humanity in this story than I expected. Watch it now!

I am loving this series. I am an admitted film, music and television snob, yet Tommy Lee, Nikki Sixx and Pamela Anderson are my guilty pleasure. Pam & Tommy on Hulu is so well done. It’s everything I had hoped it would be and more. Sebastian, Lily, Gillespie, writers, everyone absolutely killed it on this project

With how nervous they said they were to play Pam and Tommy, mixed with how seriously they seemed to take their roles like they've talked about in other interviews and the controversy that is surrounding the making of the show, u can tell that they wanted to treat and speak of both Pam and Tommy, but especially Pam, with as much respect as they could and jimmy just wanted to laugh about Seb in a thong and question whether or not Lily actually liked Pamela before the role. And how he brought up the thing of Pam being distracted by herself in the monitor, he just wanted to make jokes about her and make her out to look stupid. Idk it just seemed uncomfortable to me, because they wanted to present the show a certain way and that wasn't how Jimmy wanted to speak of it.

I’m still amazed by how much the makeup team was able to literally change Lily into another person. It always amazes me when I see a clip of her as Pamela and then suddenly the camera pans on Lilly and it’s a whole different person. The facial structure and body was transformed it’s very impressive

I don't know if Margot would have looked as perfect as Lilly does in the role which is by no means a dis on Margot Robbie I love her and think she's a fantastic actress. And while she didn't really look like Tonya Harding and still absolutely KILLED the role , I just can't see her taking on Pam Anderson. But I do know Lilly James is freaskishly on point in her acting. 90s Pam Anderson perfection.

Correct. Something similar happened to Marilyn Monroe. She had posed nude for a calendar when she was an unknown actress. It resurfaced when she became a star and almost made her unemployable because of the morality of the 1950s. Pam was trying to move past her old image and become someone respected, and then this happened. Unlike Marilyn, she wasn't forgiven or sympathised with by the public.

I mean I couldn't imagine being on an interview that's going to be seen by millions of people... I was once unexpectedly interviewed for just a museum's TH-cam channel and I can't even bear to watch it. It's much harder to keep your thoughts straight when a camera is in your face...

I think this is the first time she’s had to be so public since she and Dominic West had their well publicized fling in Italy a few years back and Dominic West was (still is) very much married when the pictures came out. It was a whole scandal with Dominic flying back to his wife in England and doing a weird photo call outside his house with his wife all smiles and kissing. He literally left a signed note for the media that said “We are still in love and still together.” Lily was left looking like a moron and the “other woman.” She got pretty burned by the media for that so I could see her being super nervous for this interview.
she’s anxious like this even her Cinderella era..she doesnt do hollywood interviews/shows and events thats why....she only did several guestings through out her career from 2015 cinderella. I think this is her first guesting in Jimmy Kimmel, once in Jimmy Fallon with Mamma Mia, twice in Graham Norton, twice in Corden show. Shes quite anxious during tv guestings i notice 💗🙏🏼 love her

As for Sebastian, he was outstanding as Tommy! He had the energy, the exuberance, and the mannerisms as well. I was really impressed with his performance and I see big things for him. Well done!
You can tell when actors really study the role they are playing. It’s hard for Sebastian to joke when he really understands that it was an American Crime Story with two victims..

At times wildly funny, at times heartbreaking and mortifying, as someone who went through a bitter divorce, this story really hit home. I was in tears of empathy by the final episode. There is so much more humanity in this story than I expected. Watch it now!
