The calm and respectful nature of this interview is so nice, and stands in such contrast to how Pamela was treated by many male interviewers in the 90s and 00s. I have watched a lot of footage and many interviewers were unfair and unkind. The humanizing of Ms. Anderson has been refreshing and beautiful to witness. Enjoyed the documentary and am looking forward to the book which I happily bought.

I agree with most of what you said. However, in my view ( which is maybe wrong), when she was wearing all of those revealing, tight and skimpy outfits, she did that TO get attention, TO be noticed, TO be seen for her physical attributes. Was she a victim of Misogyny? Probably. But most women are. I say that because I've experienced it. But if you're going to market yourself as a sex symbol ( which was definitely her brand) you are going to be treated a certain way. I love her. I think she has beautiful heart and I think she's a great mom. But, yeah.... She was trying to be seen as super hot. 🔥 Which of course she is.

Here’s the thing: Pamela has ALWAYS been trying to tell us there was more depth & variety to who she is. A girly girl who loves to be flashy? Absolutely! A woman of thought who has a passion for art? Also completely true. If you paid attention you could always see that in her. The problem was that the media never allowed the depth to be focused on - only the visage. THIS interview however did just that. Allowed the well rounded woman / artist / writer to speak her truth in a safe space with all the time she needed. Thank you for this, well done!

You tapped into it. Women who were hot at one point and faded away as they age are usually in a panic. The ability to manipulate men with looks is important for these types. Had a girlfriend who was hot up to her mid 30s and got old. Today she's on Antidepressants and Benzos..

The paper in those journals that she got her thoughts, feelings, emotions written out on, helped to take some of the weight of the burdens that she was carrying. Once she put her thoughts/ feelings onto paper, that paper/ those journals were lightening her personal load. They look the load off of her shoulders to a certain extent, and carried the weight. And I like how she says, that when she wrote stuff down in her journals, at least there is proof. Proof of existence. Very insightful.

I like her and wish her more peace and joy. I think the interviewer did not pick up on her emotions, that she had a long press tour and was tired of reliving her experiences of abuse. Be aware of women's feelings that they may not want to keep talking about past abuse as it can retraumatize them, but instead ask about future hopes, dreams and better goals for moving forward.

I’m lucky that I got to find out that she was more than just a famous Baywatch/Playboy/Pin up for a long time now , her long time activism , her petitions for animal welfare, her support for Julian Assange . She truly is a compassionate, wonderful woman .

The most beautiful interview with Pamela. Most are superficial, silly or insipid. You are a beautiful soul indeed.

What a lovely soul wrapped in a beautiful being. A good Canadian girl is what she has always been. I am so proud of her for not allowing Hollywood to tear her up. She is elevated and has been kind enough to allow us to see her just a little. Be bless lovely lady. 💖

I like her a lot. She seems grounded and humble which for a celebrity of her status is rare. Beauty and brains.

Ps. Love Love LOOOOVE the fact of absence of evident plastic surgery. Hat off 100 times for that Pamela. You seriously look amazing and the fact that your forehead reflects a part of your facial expressions and your smile is not a strange frown and jawline not pulled back as if by a rubber band that's about to break any moment, it's just amazing for someone so famous in these days. So so love it, keep keeping it real, you're amazing! 😍💋❣

I wish he would have made the interview about her future, who she is now etc. I had to stop watching once he was prying on the abuse aspects. You can tell Pamela was uncomfortable like have some compassion and talk about something interesting. We all watched the doc we don’t want to harp on the abuse she endured, it doesn’t define her. She’s far greater than that!

This was a really sweet and loving interview. I could feel the respect from the interviewer. What a great guy, leading the conversation towards what actually matters.
