Damnit ur good my 1st time i did mine i watched your channel thats how i did my car its green i gotta do the hood again lol cause yeh i need to sand it down again more lol
Very nice work I wish you were in seattle washington I would hire you for some prep and paint work, any how I'm learning a lot on your channel thanks again and may God bless you will a shop and paint room you will go far sky is the limit.
It will be fine I’m sure you have seen my previous videos where there is still some “shiny spots” the paint still adheres this is more of a guide. Wet sand it wipe spray. If it don’t hold (which is unlikely) I’ll just bedline it black lmfao
Just trying to help you out ive been in a professional ase certified autobody shop for 16 years......and im telling you shiny is no good get you some grey scotch brights and use them as your final step before cleaning and the finished product will be that much better for the long run
Dude looks amazing!!!! I'll be painting my 73 vw bug in a few days I have a few questions for you. : It's almost 50° I'll be doing the rustoleum can paint job it's that too cold? : Im going to use the 2k glamour gloss clear, do you sand the base coat before putting 2k on and what grit are you using? Thank you so much for your time I've seen all your videos man you are truly an artist!!
Hey James; i have an 2006 Hyundai elantra that i think about painting roof and hood black maybe like the infinti (with glare) and the rest Blue. watched a few of your video but couldnt really understand whats the steps because most of the videos are just speeded up without you really explaining what are you doing. so can you do a full video how to paint? from what i saw you using sand paper up to 400? why not 600 800? i dont have a garage or paved drive way so it will take me a while to find a place to paint :/ might paint it inside an hanger next time ill go to my base for reserve military. (i am not an us citizen)
New subscriber. Loving your content. Came across your channel looking for advice on spraying a vehicle. I have a bright blue VW Caddy and want to change it to grey. I had already come across Rust oleum Universal slate grey which I like. There is a couple of small spots of rust. I thought about using the grey anti rust primer for these bits and the grey surface primer for the rest before topcoat. What do you suggest please? Also, which is the best topcoat to use- Universal, Hard hat gloss or the Automotive grey or are they much the same?
Did have carbon fenders as well but pass side is cracked... I'm back out here so I'll keep you and LsChevyRyder254 informed of the goodies before they drop.
I love watching your videos I’m planning to paint my engine bay soon, then paint my wheels my colors are white orange and black. Also I’m gonna make a custom see though hood
Where do I send you pics of the sc400 I did following your guidance! You are awesome don't let the haters get you down. Keep up the great work bro! Love the new civic
I want to give this a try, can you make a video on how to remove it in case I don't like please? It would encourage more people to try it as well if they would know how to remove it if they don't appreciate it. Kind of stoned right now and hope all that made sense, thank you 👍🏼
I still think it's BS you can't have a hobby at your house. As long as you don't disturb the peace it seems what you do is your business. Make money not make money is irrelevant imo. I defiantly won't move to that place any time soon.
ppl need to know that 2K clear is the shit, ive used it a lot trough out the pass and held on for years no problem at all

Nice job James. That clear is some good stuff. Will have to experiment with it when winter is over here in the East.
How about an update on your coated garage floor, I just wanna see if it’s worth costing my floor.
Thanks for sharing man. Gonna do the same to my CF on my ej6 hatch

So funny you post this as I'm looking at a Cf hood at hwy 195 right now.it looks like it was the first one ever made and left in the sun...
Oh snap!
Did have carbon fenders as well but pass side is cracked... I'm back out here so I'll keep you and LsChevyRyder254 informed of the goodies before they drop.
Would it be salvageable if there are little knick lile spots where the clear is completely gone? Like the fibers are kinda raising up.

Do you know the legality of changing the paint of the car? like do I need to tell the dmv or whatever or can I just spray and go on with my day?
