The roads were very good till madikeri. From Mysore till Madikeri the road is 2 lane and will slow down your speed as it passes from multiple villages.. The last 5 km stretch to the resort had broken and narrow roads.
We visited Coorg during the first week of August. It rained almost continuously, with a brief 30-minute break in the evening. The roads were safe to travel as there were no sharp turns, and there were very few tourists at that time. Despite the constant rain, we did not encounter any landslides.
It rained throughout the day, with only a 30-40 minute break. If you love rain and greenery, this place is a must-visit. Just bring an umbrella, and you're good to go.
