This was first video i watched of your's . Back in 2014-15 i covered as many 40-50 places around Bengaluru . Those days we did have a smart phone by never thought v logs would do wonders . Great to see you guys sharing it people . Those days writing blogs was still on and main source . Please spread awareness of littering problems further too .
Nice to hear that bro. Looks like we were sailing on the same boat. Even I explored most of the places between 2014-2016. As you said blogging was quite famous back then, i used to blog as well. Sadly people no more have patience to read now a days. So travel videos were the next best option to share the information. 🙌🙏🏻

Very nice. Brings back a lot of memories. In the early '70s, near ರಾಮನಗರ my friends and I camped out in a small tent at ಮೇಕೇದಾಟು right next to the river and spent almost all night guarding against these little scorpions which came to partake the warmth of our campfire! It's been more than 50 Years since, and I'm sure things are a lot different there now.
Waw! Camping in 70's sounds crazy. When I was travelling in 2012 people were wondering what am I doing and on the other hand camping in 70's would be whole different thing. I'm glad to have received this comment by one of the oldest explorer 😊 thanks a lot for sharing your experience
@@SakreCubes 🙂 things were certainly different then; much was not affordable .. this trip was soon after we graduated from college in '74 and started working; the tent was borrowed from Bangalore Telephones, and it took us six Months to save the other material. The people in villages in ಮಂಡ್ಯ & ಮೈಸೂರು districts were very kind to us when as college students we pedaled all the way on our Raleigh 24" bikes to ಹುಣಸೂರು via ಮೈಸೂರು in the summer of '72. Everywhere we stopped to rest some one would give us food to eat and water to drink; every sugarcane field we stopped at we drank several glasses of sugarcane juice .. we completed our journey in 3 weeks for less than 50 or 60 rupees (a good portion of it going to patching punctures, oil for the joints on our bikes and batteries for lights for the 2 that did not have dynamos attached, etc.)... for me more adventure was in store as I left in mid '74 to join the military to train in the wilds of Madhya Pradesh between Gwalior & Jhansi Now I imagine every one relies heavily on hotels and restaurants. That just about kills half the fun.

Many thanks for this fine video. As a native of Bengaluru, I have myself not visited the Timmappana Betta and Thotikallu Falls. I must visit one of these days.
Yes you are really true about litters. I get mad everytime i see anyone throwing garbage in picknic spots. I fought with several people who have littered infront of me and some were so rude that they were about to hit me. I was even told that I'm an outsider and have no right to say anything to them. My friends and I always carry a seperate bag to collect all the waste we create during any visit and we bring it back or throw it in the nearest dustbin. I do that even in Lal Bagh. Frankly speaking it's always those people who comes in fancy vehicles or dress up nicely litter everywhere. I have never seen villagers making the place dirty. People even throw chips packets directly from their running vehicle in the streets. I once threw it back inside the car🤣.
Haha. I always wanted to throw such trash back in the car. Great to know you are a responsible traveller who not just avoids littering but also clears it. A small bit of change can go a long way. 😊
