Caddilac might just be the coolest company ever for keeping the 6.2l V8 alive. The blackwing is one of the best sports sedans ever.

If you're being serious then I believe you are seriously missing the mark on the verse you're referring to.
I remember giving Cadillac grief because they never stick with a sports sedan and just keep refining and developing it. I stand corrected. They have done it and done it well. These are world class sports sedans / GTs.
CT5-V Blackwing is my “when I win the lottery” car.

CT5 was good as is, but Cadillac managed to do a nice facelift without overdoing it. LOVE IT! If you won't sell it in EU, I will go an extra mile to import here it how much I love it.
Love Cadillac, but I have to point out the error in the video. The footage of the "2009-2014 CTS-V Sedan" at 0:28 and repeated again at 0:33 is a Gen3 2014-2019 Cadillac CTS (possibly a VSport)...
Along with the 2nd gen CTS-V shown right at the beginning (0:15) of the 1st gen clip!

As a 1st gen CTS-V enthusiasts and an ex-GM powertrain engineer, I find it strange that a video which focuses on 20 years of heritage and legacy GM decided to show the street version of the first CTS-V, the first V ever for only one second? And @ 00:15 GM the picture says 2004-2007 CTS-V while the video shows a 2nd gen CTS-V then @ 00:28 the video shows a base 3rd gen CTS instead of a 2nd gen CTS-V?

Huh?!? The Blackwing has been in production since MY22 and they showed the refreshed MY25 in this video. The 5 isn't going away. I'm not so sure about the smaller 4 though.

there was a rare “V-Series” CTS with the 3.6 Twin Turbo it was called the CTS V-Sport

I think it's great that Cadillac has branched out into the truck/SUV market and the performance automobile market. However, they seem to have forgotten their luxury roots. Many of us Cadillac loyalists still want roomy, quiet, comfortable, luxurious Cadillacs. I couldn't imagine taking a tiny little CT-5 with horribly uncomfortable racing seats, on a long trip. 😫
Soooooo, get an XT6 or XT5, or even an Escalade. I have an Escalade EXT, on a trip you arrive feeling the same way you did when you left. The best "over the road" machine ever. My CT5 V Blackwing, is the best "I just take it out for fun, but I could put it on the track, (and not void the warrenty) if I wanted to." car ever made. If you're a high performance enthusiast, get the Blackwing. If you're a over the road traveler, get an Escalade.

When they came out fully equipped we were looking at $115k with to $125k without ceramic brakes.
Thought that was too much in 2022 looked at prices your looking at close to $140k with same options
Surely the 25 with new dash will peak at like $155 to $160

Own a 2018 CTS-V. Was thinking about the Blackwing, but thought the 3rd gen CTS looked so much better with the right kind of aggressive look in the front. Now with the 2025 refresh the front end does look more aggressive and is making me think about trading it in. Good job on the new CT5 front look!

Looks cool and all for sure. But when it comes to reliability this will get a 0/10. I bought a 2022 CT5, right now at 32,000kms. Here’s the list of things that were fixed within 2 years of ownership; seat lumbar unit, steering wheel boot, transmission transfer case, engine head carrier gasket, ENTIRE TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY, driver side rear view mirror, and O2 sensor. So I’d look at this car, admire its beauty and walk into another dealership and get another car 👍🏽
My favorite car company could be very iconic and maybe the standard of the world again if they finally broke away from General Motors and the rest of the leach family! That brand needs to be by itself and not affiliated or shared with no one else. The CT6 and Blackwing motor was the first step in the right direction for the brand until GM killed that!

Where are you? Because I've seen several for sale here in the greater Chicagoland area. My best friend just bought a Cadillac Lyric. They had both a CT5-V and Blackwing on the showroom floor. The Blackwing was $126k though 😮. The V was $65k
I'd still rather have a Holden Commodore/Chevrolet SS.
Cadillac is getting insanely cool, but their sales decreased 7% in 2023. This could be easily fixed if they were willing to produce the CTS wagon again. Yes, station wagons are a niche market vehicle, but a niche product doesn't necessarily need to generate the biggest sales. Bringing back the wagon could effectively boost their branding, just like how the King of Luxury keeps the E63 AMG wagon line, Audi keeps the RS6, and Porsche doesn't forget the Panamera. I don't understand why the management is still so stubborn not to give fans what they truly want.
ADVERTISE THESE CARS ON TV! They're not selling! You didn't advertise the Chevy SS, the Regal GS, etc. Your actual fun cars don't get the spotlight. GMs marketing team sucks. No one wants to see a Equinox pulling in a driveway....

People cannot survive in electric cars because their batteries explode when hit, electric cars cannot withstand an ice age, electric cars catch fire if they are charged quickly, cell phone chargers can even catch fire if they are charged quickly, and even small cell phone charging machines can catch fire. It's hard, but isn't it hard to charge a car? I wish they would develop a different type of car than electric cars, which have too many shortcomings.
