Awesome content mate. I have just got back in to it after 13 years and so much has changed i got myself the blade fusion 180 and broke it and parts are very hard to get so in the mean time i have being buying second hand helis, i got and old aligh trex 250se had no radio gear in it and got an old nine eagles solopro 290 the had a flybarless system and the tail was broken and they don't make parts for em anymore so i put the radio gear in the trex 250se with the flybar head and it fly great with it while i wait for parts for the fusion 180. i rememeber that back in the day aligh was the best you can great i wanted one they were to expensive so i seatle for a blade 400 and still got it the best heli i had was a thunder tiger raptor 30 v2 never should of got rid of it i swap it for a 1/8 scale buggy silly me anyway mate keep it up.
In the UK, 'school' is where you go to up to 18 years old. I know in the US it's different. I presume you are at what we'd call university? That's a lovely spot for flying!
Yes, I am in college attending a University. I am in my last semester before I graduate with a 4 year business degree. I am super blessed to live on roughly 40 acres, so I am able to fly everything right in my backyard!
Hi In the video yo make a comment that it doesn't fly as good as your Goblin, which Goblin are you referring to ? Nice Video BTW, cant wait for the build video. I also own a 470L, it fly's very good.
Hello! Nice to hear good feedback about this heli. I currently consider to get is as my first CP heli. I wonder if metal vs plastic head parts will play any role in flight quality? Some other guy told me that LM is just waste of money and better to get the LP version. What do you think?
I disagree that the LM version is a waste of money, I would much rather have the aluminum parts vs plastic. The tolerances of plastic are not nearly as good as aluminum so flight quality could certainly be different. There’s a reason why all high-end helis are built with aluminum, it’s a much better material for these little birds and the crazy amount of RPM/stress they are under. The plastic version would probably be fine since it’s your first CP heli and your not going to be flying hard 3D, but personally I would still invest in the LM.
@@mangzrc Thank you for the reply and for your opinion! I was planning to run it not at 100% throttle, but less. I believe it would be possible to buy metal head and replace it later probably then. I for sure would take the LM version because metal looks nicer, but i'm just a bit tight on my budget so saving 100 euros makes sense for me for now, so that's why the LP was considered :) you say you ran this heli on 70% throttle and it still was low? Was it like less responsive or what? Sounds like for a newbie it should be 100%? Also, just to mention, i'm new to collective pitch helis, not to helis overall. I have mini indoor fixed pitch heli and i learned orientations stuff and can fly with turns and stuff without crashing. I know i still will need to learn some collective pitch management and probably manual balancing of the machine :) so that's why i wonder if middle RPM or higher RPM will be better for learning? Though, it is probably something what i would discover on my own anyway when i would get that heli, but for now while i don't have this heli, i think i still could ask this question, hah. I'm curious what risks or discomfort it may give if fly on lower RPM? And what exactly you meant by 'a lot of throw' when you said it needs higher RPM?
Ciao bel volo, anch'io ho il 470, volevo chiederti ,le paline di coda che misura devono essere, mm 69, o mm 74? Puoi dirmi la differenza in volo? Grazie ciao
Usa le lame da 69 mm. Le pale di coda da 74 mm forniranno un maggiore controllo della coda, ma non è necessario con la configurazione di serie e potrebbero causare caratteristiche di volo indesiderate come il movimento della coda.
If your having tail wag issues it’s either because your gyro gain is too high or the mechanical setup on the tail is incorrect or both. Start by resetting up the tail and insuring it’s perfect mechanically. Once you do that, start lowering your gain until your tail stops wagging.
This is another very clean sounding heli. It sounds very smooth no vibrations.
I have the LP version of this. I brought it as a practice machine and I'm very impressed with it too.

Same here, 14 years out of Helis just got back into them. May get 2 of these.
Nice flight you should get the Brain2
Bro please 🙏 do a setup on the 6250hx! I have so many issues with it on my fusion

Thanks man! I was referring to the Buddy 380, which swings the same size blades as the 470.
Your skills are crazy , I hope to be there some day never
Very nice what servos are you using I like to move to torq 508 but dont know if I can
I am using the Align DS450M's. I dont see why the 508's would not work, they have more torque at the expensive of speed.

so how much was the helicopter? You said for the price it's a good value. How much is it?
The 470LM Super-combo is around 549.99. I actually got mine on sale from HeliDirect for $490-ish.

Ok grazie
Ciao ,vorrei cambiare la fusoliera sul 470, sai dirmi dove posso acquistare una di riproduzione? Grazie
which flybarless are you using
Spektrum 6250
Is this petrol version
It’s electric, they do not make a gas version of the 470.
Add some EXPO. 👍🏼👍🏼
Nice!!

Anyone fight tail wag with this machine I run TT LT version.
