As a creator, I feel I have to be open with you guys. Apologies for the little activity on the channel recently - I'm a father of two and I felt I had little connection with my little daughter (who is nearly 2 years old). This was down to always creating content on here and live streaming - but I will never take back that time because it's all been amazing, so it's not a negative thing. This month though, I really wanted to spend time with my kids at home so I can feel like a great Father that I promised myself and promised my father (r.i.p). It was Xmas month so I wanted to make this month special for my family. Thanks to your support all year, I was able to achieve that. Those smiles were priceless and that's also down to YOU! I didn't want to say this in video because I'd get emotional, because of what I've been able to achieve but also no matter what, you guys are ALWAYS here for me. I am really grateful. I will NOT take that for granted and forever appreciative. 2023 is coming and its going to be the biggest and busiest year for this channel and Twitch. Thank you for everything people - I'm achieving stuff that I thought I never could. THANK YOU! 💙
You should always put your family first bro, and if anybody who follows you/admires your content doesn;t appreciate that then they don't deserve to be parents.
Man you're so good at this, i wish i knew 20% of what you know but i'm so bad at creating tactics, tweaking etc, anything i do barely works then i never start winning and i lose interest in the game 😂😂
I did not know a Mezzala made sense when you already have a winger on each side, I thought the Mezzala was there for a formation that does not usually have wingers. I might have to try this for my own 4-3-3. 18:28 in my experience full backs on attack and even support usually go forward as well and cross balls in - especially if you tell them to do so in the possession tactics tab. Also, why use a wing back (whose description literally says to use them when you have no real wingers otherwise) when you already have proper attacking wingers?
Nice video as always! To help you with the pronounciations: Ricci = rich (emphasis) + ee (long), Hincapié = Inka (no H) + pee (short) + ye (short, emphasis), Roque is rock (emphasis) + a (very short) … fair enough you didn't sign the Napoli winger Kvaratskhelia ;-)
Finally a TACTIC(s)! Been racking my brain trying to figure out the best setup for my current group of players. Sancho as APM on the left is AMAZING. THANK YOU RDF
I had a similat tactic (not so many instructions though) for FM22, tried it to FM23, works absolutely fine and smooth. I think that for that formation what you do with your middle three is absolutely key and i also think that if you can conbine your middle three (roles & duties) with their traits and you find that sweet spot, than it becomes a monster tactic.
Loved the video, earned a subscriber! I've been struggling to find a stable 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 system for my Swansea save in my third season, second in PL. Got promoted via playoffs and finished 14th in PL with a low-block 5-2-3, but now I'm hoping to assert some authority with my new players. Thanks for the great ideas, will check them out. Keep up the good work, mate!
Mega tactic, loving the thoughts behind it and thank you for showing us! I’m using it as a base but leaking goals. Any advice on what to change to help keep clean sheets?
Mezzalas generally take more risks with the ball (i.e. dribble more and pass more directly) and they usually operate at half spaces on the pitch. Although you could add these extra duties on the cm on attack role as it's sort of a free role & also they usually advance to more advanced central areas from deep (think of a Shadow Striker as they get into opposition area).
very difficult! But I actually will ask my deepest DM to mark the ST position - this helps him coming back and defend in a 3v2 rather than 2v2 with their two strikers and our two CBs
Loan with an option to buy seems to be the very popular way. Always 2nd or 3rd season, though. Never in the first - make sure you keep setting reminders on him every window
Great tactic yet again 👏 I would like to see you try to create a good tactic where you play a back 3 but all the centre backs are on attack ie. Wide centre backs and a libero
I like that, but let me tell you how i started with a 5113 and end up with a 451 which can be played also 433, the secret is to player instructions and balance mentality.
Hey, buddy! I have a serious offer for you, even a very serious one! In general, you would be such a sweetheart if you could simulate Xavi's tactics in the final match for the Spanish Super Cup! Come on, you can do it, and you will do it!
I’ve been using these tactics for last 10 games. Won 1, drew 1 lost 8. Were not actually playing too badly it’s just I’m newly promoted to the premier league with Wigan. Last time I was in the Premier I got relegated but bounced back. Please help or I’m going back down. Got 4 points in December 👎
I will give you some tips bro. It's not all about tactics, as a newly promoted team, every time you have the chance, praise your players. If they have a good rating in training and in matches too. Praise praise praise. Build team cohesion. Then tactically speaking, the shape of your tactic might be the same, start with balanced mentality though and don't press higher up the pitch, use a mid-block then try to get on the break with fast wingers and the forward. Think carefully and adjust where you want the opposition to attack. Up against a small forward? Force outside and encourage crosses. Up against a TM? force inside, press full backs and wingers. Maybe this won't save you from relegation but it's your best bet.
Also make sure to set up your set pieces properly. Pre-game and in-game too. If you sub out a player, make sure his replacement doesn't have 4 jumping reach and is trying win headers in the box
@@viniciusrestelli1110 cheers mate. I tweaked my tactic a few days ago but did a few of the things you mentioned a play a mid block but turning regroup on seems to have really helped me. I’ve won like 5/10 games against Arsenal and Chelsea so it’s looking upwards
how the hell you in the league with a small team? i am with bournmouth on my 7th season i think always come between 4th-6th place but always 30points under the champions
Because of this tactic haha but also tweaking a lot. If I'm totally honest, I tweak on a game to game. Sometimes it's a very minor tweak like removing pass into space - or its changing the mentality because we're starting to hit bad form

I love this tactic. It has everything from my favorite one on fm21 : IF on supp, atk and a DM.
Every time rdf releases a video it feels like Christmas

Do you also play with all 3 midfielders on support duty?

@@RDFTactics Thanks

haha love this!
Thanks for this one, been wanting to try a 433 with Villa. Time to do some tinkering 😁
How’d it go?
What was the player instructions for the advance play maker and inside forward on attack on the right?
happy new year rdf and everyone
Could this tactic work for brighton ? Which of you 3 tweeks do you recomend? You're a legend bro, best regards from argentina
Hi, with the IF's do you have the right side be left footed and the left side be right footed?
Love your videos mate - keep it up! Happy new year 🔥

Definitely gonna try this tactic later would love to see an Argentina tactic from the world cup
Happy New Year! Can you do an Ipswich tactic???
I would like to see Bilbao tactic. If you can make one, please 🎉

What is in your opinion the biggest difference between a mezzala on attack and a cm on attack?
Mezzalas generally take more risks with the ball (i.e. dribble more and pass more directly) and they usually operate at half spaces on the pitch. Although you could add these extra duties on the cm on attack role as it's sort of a free role & also they usually advance to more advanced central areas from deep (think of a Shadow Striker as they get into opposition area).

Can i replace box to box = roaming playmaker?
Just found you, really interesting stuff but there is just one little thing. There is no "R" in favourite, not at the beginning anyway 😉
